How to create a copyright for your story :)

You will need...

To set up a copyright notice you're going to need:

•A email address specifically for the purpose of business only. Eg ArielParker@journalist.com

•A "company name". Usually this is just your name and a trademark sign. Eg. ArielParker_™

•Access to the copyright symbol - ©, trademark symbol - ™ and the registered symbol - ®

I am well aware that many of you are on a iPod, iPad or iPhone and don't have those symbols. If so, follow these directions:

1. Google one of them (because Wattpad won't let you copy straight from here), find the symbol in text form, then copy it.

2. Go to settings > general > keyboard > add new shortcut

3. Under 'phrase', paste the symbol.

4. Under 'shortcut', write something directly linked to that, which you can easily remember, eg © = (c), ™ = trademark, ® = registered.
