Kippers pov

I saw a sliver of light. I pushed at the light. More light. I blinked,trying to look around for were I was. I couldn't see straight in front of me. I lifted up one of my...uh...flippers, yeah lets go with that, to feel for my eyes. I slid my flipper to the left of my gigantic forehead.

"Ah!" I squeaked as I poked my eye on accident.

I put my flippers in front of me and felt around. I then thought that if I closed one eye and turned my head in the direction the eye is then it's like seeing normaly. I touched my right eye. It was...slimey? Wait...do I even Have a right eye!?!

I wiped my right eye. A piece of egg was on my eye. Guess I still have egg on me.

I took the egg shell off my face. I could see straight now.

Walked along the dirt path that my egg was next to. I stumbled a litte, its pretty difficult to walk the second you're born. And then...

I now could now only see darkness. And then something grabbed me and held me up.

I saw a face,of a girl. She had cuts all over her face and had bright aqua colured eyes. She also had a blue and white striped shirt. She noticed me looking at one cut that was right under her right eye, she spoke.

"Omg! A baby Mudkip!" She shaked me as she said that " Oh! You're probably wondering about this cut on my face!?" She move some orange hair from her face. "I got this from fighting a Seviper. No big deal."

I tilted my head. I have no idea what a Seviper is. ... or what I am. I decided to ask the girl. "What am I?" I ponted to myself to show what I was asking.

" Kip Kip? Ha I have no idea what you're saying. Come on you adorable little Mudkip," wait am I a 'Mudkip' "My other, pokémon deserve to see your cuteness!"

She finally put me down a took two pokeballs from her bag.

"Come out Mudik and Hidden!" She said that as she threw the pokeballs in the air. One pokemon looked really small and weak, the other one looked like she could kill me in one hit.

The pokemon I was guessing named Mudik had a blank look on her face and I returned the look. The other one named Hidden was sitting down and stareing at the dirt she didn't move much, but If you look close enough her back was moveing slightly as she breathed. I walked over to her. Mudik looked at me and said "Oh, don't pay attention to Hidden she's weak, I'm probably the strongest Marshtomp to ever live!" I turned my head and looked at her and replied "Marsh-Tomp? I thought your name was Mudik?" Mudik walked over to me and patted my head "Im the pokemon Marshtomp my nickname is Mudik and your a Mudkip." I stared at her and tried to say 'Mudkip'.

"Im a... Kip?" Mudik tilled her head and said "Yeah a Mud-kip." I looked at her with a confused look "Yep! I is a KIP!" Mudik stared at me disappointed. "No you are a MUDkip not a KIP!"

"Yeah thats what im saying im a Kip!" Mudik sighed an looked at the sky. "Ok, Mr.Kippers once you figure out how to pronounce Mud we'll talk again." Mudik turned around and walked to the girl who was watching us talk. I turend around and stared at Hidden. "Um...are you okay?" Hidden didn't reply. I turned around and the girl's face jummped back and fell on Hidden, Hidden squeaked and roled into a ball on the grass. The girl spoke.

"Oh, did I startle you?" I thought'Yes,yes you did'. "Well I just realized I haven't told you my name!" I thought again 'oh great, you have a name too.'

"Well, My names Kippy!"
