I will tell you this story starting from the very beginning, my name is Caleb, I am just a regular highschooler trying to erase all of my middleschool memories that consisted of me cosplaying and watching anime thinking I was cool. School is and always has been awful for me, I am always the one kid that gets left out of everything, but I prefer being left out than being someone who just tries to blend in with the rest of society. So I just continue with my normal routine of life, waking up, going to school, and then doing my homework until my mom gets home. My dad died before I could have any actual memories of him and my mom is usually late home from work working extra hours just to support us. So thats how I just followed my usual routine for the first few weeks of school, but then there was one day that changed my whole world around. On the fifth week of school we got a new student in our class, Hazel, I didn't think much of her, because she just seemed like one of those people who mainly cares about anime and manga, but I soon came to see that was not the case.
The teacher explained,"This is our new student, Hazel, she will be joining our class as of today."
She introduced herself,"Hh-hhello my nn-name is Hazel."
The teacher added,"Also Caleb show her to her locker and classes to make sure she doesn't have any issues getting to class."
I replied, "Yessir", and so we left class and I showed her around to where her classes are, and then we stopped at her locker. She was having trouble with the lock, but she didnt say anything until after about five minutes of trying she finally voiced
"C-ccan you help p-please", so she told me her combination and I quickly opened it and then explained to her how to open it so that I could speedily get to my next class. After school I began to walk home the same as everyday, but on the way home I had noticed the new girl following me, at first I thought it was just coincidence that she had to take the same route home, but when I arrived at my apartment building I noticed that she had walked in right behind me, so I sped up my pace to quickly get to my apartment and finally entered.
"Phew", I sighed, then I tossed my backpack aside, went into my room, and leaped into my bed. Finally, alone, I thought, but then I saw someone peaking out the balcony next to me. I was curious as to who had moved in, because someone had just moved out last week, so I wanted to greet my new neighbors. I walked onto my balcony, but as I walked out of my apartment, I was knocked over by someone and when I opened my eyes I saw that it was Hazel, and she was on top of me. I layed there in shock for a moment and before I could say anything she was already gone.
*Hazels P.O.V.*
I was running up towards my room, when someone had suddenly came out of their room and I fell straight on them, and as I regained sight I saw that it was him, Caleb, I had fell for him the moment I saw him. So when I fell onto him, my whole face became red and before I knew it my body was already running towards my bedroom, and once I got there I locked the door and sat against it thinking about what had just happened. My face was still red from what had just happened because I really don't know how to deal with my feelings because this is the first person I have ever had a crush on, like ever.
*Calebs P.O.V.*
I decided that the next day at school I would confront her about it, but for now I continued on my way towards the new neighbors door and I knocked on their door multiple times until someone finally unlocked the door, so I said, "Hello I am your new neighb....", but I was cut off by the door being slammed into my face.
*Hazels P.O.V.*
I heard a knock at the door which I at first ignored, but whoever it was they kept knocking until I was forced to answer it, so I came out of my room and opened the door just a sliver, then I heard a voice saying something along the lines of "I am your new neighbor" but I cut him off there because I panicked, it was Caleb at the door, and he lives next door! I was really flustered, so I just curled into a ball against my apartment door and just sat there. I was really falling in love with Caleb and I just couldnt be around him without my heart racing so fast that I think that it might explode. Even when we were at my locker earlier today I was just barely able to stop myself from panicking and breaking down right in front of him. So after a while of thinking about what happened I decided to go and do what I usually do when I'm stressed or flustered, binge watch anime.
*Calebs P.O.V.*
So after the door was slammed on me I walked back towards my apartment and started my nightly routine of showering and other hygienic things before finally going to sleep.
*Authors Note*
Sorry for all the point of view switches and bad writing but, trust me if you happen to have no life and continue this story then you will see that I am awful at introducing characters and that once I can actually move more towards the plot it gets much better. Also sidenote: hope you enjoy this series but I wont update a ton because I have school and things enjoy :)
