The Girl who Cried Cats

The morning after suspicion

  I awoke to a sweet, soft sound of the word, Prestoo~ . I sat up gently very confused of the word I just heard. I stretched my arms and legs before taking a deep breath and a look around at the bare walls of the small bedroom that I will now call my own.

  What was that ? I thought to myself, looking towards the window that now had a purple curtain, my favorite color. I got up and stretched my legs more, twirling around a few times feeling happy and stress free.

  Then all of a sudden the memories from the night before flooded into my head. What was that figure I saw? And why are there scratches in the- I almost completed the thought before I looked over at the scratches. A small folded up note laid upon the floor, and printed on the top in beautiful cursive said Sharina. Why does it say my name? I thought to myself once again, leaning down to look at it, and I picked it up. 

  I unfolded the note and what really surprised me was that the lined page was clearly empty. I looked around once again at the ground and saw a small, black pen that said Showcase Invisible Ink  on the side. I smirked and looked around once more on the ground for a cap, and I had no luck finding one. I remembered when I was much younger around six or seven, my father bought me an invisible pen that I never used and ended up losing it. The pen came with a cap with a purple light so you could read the invisible ink. Oh no I thought to myself, I have no idea where I could buy a new pen.

  After awhile of thinking, I decided to go ask my father if he could take me shopping so I could get the pen and maybe a few accessories to fix up my very bland room. I left my room and entered the living room, huh.. no ones here. I looked in the other two untouched bedrooms and I was just about to look in the kitchen when I heard a knock on the door.

I went to the door cautiously and turned the doorknob revealing a tall figure that resembled a cat.
