Jessica's pov
I finally arrived in LA. My best friend was out here and we are now living in
an apartment together.

Me:hi
It means that the characters are texting)
Me: hey Alex I'm down her come get me idk what room it is
Alex: okay I'm on my way down and I have a surprise for you!!
Me: oh god
Alex: you'll like it
Me: sure (note my sarcasm)
She got down and led me to the apartment.
"So where are we going," I asked.
"To a party," she replied.
"Are you serious," I sighed loudly,"you know I'm not social and I hate parties."
"Sorry but your coming."
"Why?"
"Bc there are really cute guys there."
"Wow of corse."
"Well it starts in like 2 hours so let's get ready."
"Fine, but I'll be in the corner."
"Ugh, I don't have anything," she said going through the closest.
I walked over.
"You have like 30 dresses, me on the other hand have nothing. I'm just gonna wear a flannel." (Pic above, lol their so hot omggggg❤️❤️❤️)
I got ready and scrolled through Instagram feed.
"are you ready," I asked
"Yes"
She took an hour to get ready. and all she was wearing was a little black dress and some makeup.
She grabbed her keys and we left.
When we arrived people were in the lawn with red solo cups in their hands, I bet filled with alcohol. I'm NOT getting drunk.
"Come on," Alex hollered.
I got out with people staring at me.
I got inside.
I sat in a corner where no on could see me.
All I did was listen to music, my kind of music like Melanie Martinez, Shawn Mendes, jack and jack, twenty one pilots, Jacob whitesides, and bea Miller.

I saw Alex talking to many guys, yes we are best friends and completely different, I guess opposites to attract. Not in a sexual way but you know.
After 5 minutes a shadow came across my body.
I looked up and saw a guy standing above me. I pulled out one earbud. "Can I help you?" I asked.
"Oh...umm no, I'm sorry it's just." He sat next to me explaining. " see my brother over there," he nodded his head toward him.
"Yes"
"Well he dared me to come over here."
"Oh, why?"
"Idk that's just my brother, anyways I'm Ethan."
"Jessica"
"So you don't seem to be digging the party."
"No I'm not that social, I'm surprised I've talked to you this long without having a panic attack"
"Why are you here?"
"Oh my friend," I pointed at Alex.
He just laughed.
"Why are you laughing," I asked.
"She's talking to my brother, I didn't want to come either he made me."
"Oh."
"So you wanna go home."
"Yes but I just moved in today and I'm not really sure where my apartment is."
"I can take you to my house."
"Really."
"Yep I don't want to be here and I knew you don't let's go."
So we left.
