Mel
Cringing at the slightest sound her window made Mel indelicately (half fell) made it out of her second storey bedroom window. Swiftly hopping across the lower roof and shimmying down the old tree outside her house. Looking back at her family home with its peeling paint and rickety porch. All lights out and curtains drawn there was no sign of life and hardly ever was!
