Ode to Sadness
In sadness I remember
With sadness Comes joy
an unwritten rule with every up there is a down
Only in sadness do I comprehend
My true happiness
in sadness I have an excuse
I can sit and mope and be alone with my thoughts
what a wonderful experience sadness really is
it makes you realize how important some things are
or maybe in sadness you realize how silly you where
to get upset over such a silly thing
in sadness you find inspiration
and in sadness there is comfort
sadness is the backbone of all emotion
but if you break your back it sucks
when you break sadness you are free
but why be free from the thing
that inspired you to break away
Yes sadness can be painful
It can leave you distraught
Like a slacked rope you are down
But ropes when pulled up will be taut
Sadness is the greatest motivation
Yet life's most miserable aberration
