A loud bang was heard causing Shadow to sit up straight in his seat, his annoyed face returning to his emotionless face as his eye twitched slightly. He saw Rouge and Omega walk in as well as the Commander, who was soon to quit. Shadow looked confused as everyone stated at him, he had been to busy think about that strange dream with the blonde girl, just who was she and how was she important to his life? The commander banged the table again causing the room to silent and everyone's attention to face him."Shadow! Are you paying attention?!" Shadow growled quietly and his mouth turned into a frown."Repeat Commander." Commander growled and sighs before repeating what he said,"As you all know I am retiring! I need someone to take my place when I am gone! Now then, that is what this meeting is about! I have chosen the next commander, the hardest Agent that works here, the most serious of us all! Welcome your new commander, Shadow the hedgehog!" Shadow's eyes widen and he looked around the room seeing people clapping and Rouge hugs him. He growls and crosses his arms."Get off Rouge." Rouge shook her head no."I'm so proud of you Shadow!" Shadow growled loudly."Chaos control!" He pushes her off in a small blast and walks away, slamming the door behind him. Everyone looked at each other confused."What's with him?" Rouge asked as Omega shrugged."Let's just leave Shadow alone for now Rouge." Rouge nods and shook her head as she walks to join the celebration.
