"Does your left eye hurt? 'Cause you've been looking right all day."

Ladybug and Chat Noir were on patrol that regular Tuesday night. They were sitting on the edge of the Eiffel Tower, which was lit up and shining as Paris' crown jewel should. Everything was pleasant until he started "chat-ing."

"E-excuse me?" Ladybug choked out. Did he just . . . ?

"If you were a vegetable, you'd be a cutecumber," Chat smirked, looking quite smug with her reaction.

Yes, he did, Ladybug thought.

"On a rate from 1-10, you're a 9 because I'm the 1 you need," he continued.

"Chat . . ." Ladybug was unable to suppress a smile.

"If you were a Transformer, you'd be Optimus Fine," he grinned cheekily.

"Where are you getting all these?" Ladybug giggled.

"Have you been to the doctor lately? 'Cause you're lacking some Vitamin Me."

"You are something, Chat," Ladybug laughed, pinching the bridge of her nose and shaking her head.

"Is, you're name nobody? Because somebody said nobody's purrfect."

"A pick-up line and a cat pun? How could this get worse?" She said jokingly. "You need to shut up."

Chat only kept going. "I'll give you a kiss, but if you don't like it, you can return it."

Enough is enough, Ladybug told herself, even though she was secretly enjoying it.

"Not unless I make the first move!" She chuckled and brought her hands up to his (now burning) cheeks. Ladybug guided Chat to her lips and kissed him. His eyes were wide open, but soon enough he closed them and moved his mouth in sync with her's.

She pulled away when she knew he wasn't ready to and hummed a joyful tune, thankful for the silence and the gaping alley cat sitting next to her.

"They worked . . ." She heard him whisper before he stood up and started doing his victory dance. "It worked! Eureka!"

She shook her head, holding a secret smile. What a dork.
