Evan watched as a new boy walked into the school.
"Dibs." His friend whispered.
"Wha-you don't even like guys like us! And what makes you think he's straight?"
"What makes you think he's gay?"
"I never said he was gay."
"I never said he was straight, but I still call dibs."
"But what if he's not straight?"
"Too bad. You can't undo dibs." Evan glared at Avril and looked over at the new kid. He almost looked as though he was studying him.
"He doesn't like girls." He said matter of factly
"How can you tell?" April followed his gaze.
"Look at how he leans toward the guy, but not the girl, it's obvious they're both flirting, but new boy likes guys."
"How can you be sure he's not bisexual or something?"
"He'd stay in the middle. And if he was straight he'd lean toward the girl. He's not, therefore is gay, and you can't have dibs."
"Bull-"
"Shut up he's coming over here." Evan smiled at the new kid when he sat down. "Hello, I'm Evan and this is my friend, Avril."
"Hi. I'm Zack."
"Hey, Zack, you're cute, though I can't do anything about it because Avril has dibs." Zack giggled.
"Well I'm hella homo, so..."
"Told you." He whispered. Zack laughed.
"Are you two siblings?"
"Eh, ish...she was adopted." Evan said.
"So were you, smart ass." Avril leaned back. Zack smiled at the entertainment. The bell rang and Zack asked Evan how to get to his class. Evan looked through his schedule.
"Looks like you have had your classes with me...i can show you where all of them are, come on." Evan took Zack to his first class.
"Thanks, Evan. And about what you said earlier...you're cute too." Zack smiled. Even blushed.
"You just go...I'll see you agree class, yeah?" Zack nodded. Evan watched as he went into his class and then went to his own class.
