"BELLE WE ARE LEAVING IN 5 MINUTES!" My mom yelled from the kitchen. Ok I just had to do a last minute check. Makeup? Check. Bathing suit? Check. Phone? Check. And last but not least I took my new laptop and slid it into its bejewled pink pouch. I joined my mom in the living room to say our goodbyes to my dad and brother, and following that I made a mad dash for the car. I was so excited, I was finally getting to see all my old friends I had to leave behind when I left my old school, it was in Tennessee. My dad got this HUGE job transfer; he told me repeatedly it was an offer he just couldn't refuse. I was estatic for him, that was until I found out we would be moving to Missouri. I mean of all the 49 other states in America, how did we end up in Missouri? I missed Tennessee as much as all kids my age missed the old Disney channel. But since we had moved, my dad made a promise to me that every summer I could return to Tennessee for a week. A week is all I got, at least it was better than nothing. Tennessee is where I grew up, I missed everything about it. I missed home, I missed my best friend. We've been best friends for as long as I can remember; his name is Jacob. We used to go in the woods and put on little Talent Shows, with the stage being a huge rock. Jacob would always sing, he loved it. During everything we did he would always sing, making up silly songs as he went. All of his songs made absolutely no sense; but he didn't care. It seemed that singing was really Jacobs true passion, it didn't matter where he was or what he was doing, he would always be singing. And once he started, he wouldn't stop. Well that was until I found his weakness; if you give him a popcicle, he will shut up.
