A Tears Memory

Chapter 1

I really didnt like winter , it was cold and wet and just gross , i hated it. I was sitting on the couch in the living room, quietly ,looking out the front window watching the snow fall.  I was thinking of what it would be like if things were diffrent . All the sudden my friend Maria was poking me in the side with her pencil. I looked down from the window and straight at her. Maria was my best friend , and i guess a sister. I trust her with my life , and i love her. Shes helped me threw soo much , and understands everything . i love her.

" jane are you alright ? " she asked .

" yea im fine , just thinking " i replided

" well i hope your thinking about this project because if we dont get this finish now we never will , and Mr.Fritz hates us enough . "

Maria was always so worried about school , i mean she was the smartest girl around , i just didnt understand it .

"hear im going to read things from the book , and you write them down . " she said

I nodded and she began , i started writing things down , not even paying attention. I stopped for a minute and looked out the window , it was still snowing lightly , i just wanted it to stop. I started to copy things down again , when i heard a loud screech from outside. i sat up and looked out the window again , this time maria joined me . It looked like there was a car accident between to small cars , it wasnt that bad , but it made me think back ...

***flash back ****

" mom are we almost there " i asked inpatiently. We were on our way to Vermont for the New Years holiday.

" soon hunny , dont worry , we'll be there in about an hour or so . "

" if this storm would clear up we'd be there earlier. " my dad added.

I sat back in my seat , and stared out the window , it was snowing pretty heavily , i started to drift into sleep , all of the sudden my mom let out a blood currdling scream , i awoke quickly , and before i knew it the car was flipping and everything went black...

****end of flash back***

i snapped out of it , and i found maria staring at me .

" are you ok ? "

i just looked at her , i didnt want to tell her what i saw , it would just make me upset . instead i got up quietly and nodded.

"Im going upstairs to take a shower ill be down later"  my voice was a little shakey.

I ran upstairs and went into the bathroom , and locked the door. I striped rather quickly. i turned and looked in the mirror . I never really relized how much i changed , i was so pale , and skinny . I looked like a ghost , i had purple circles under my eyes. The only thing that was the same was my long brown flowly hair . the only thing i liked about myself.  I went to turn around and i saw the scar . the scar that i hated , the scar i'd never be able to get rid of . i jumped into the shower and i let the tears flow.
