Chapter 7

A/N yo guys it's me again updating twice in one day. My friend is downstairs watching football so I'm bored up here and decided to update! I really hope you like it ! :):)

-----Alice's POV------

As you could probably guess, Amanda slept over last night. We spent the whole time talking about meeting the boys of one direction.

At first I was afraid they would be condescending in real life, but they are actually really cool. It felt like I was just hanging out with my friends from school.

Except for Niall. I was always kind of nervous on the inside talking to him because I didn't want him to think I was an idiot. Oh who am I kidding, I'm a total idiot haha.

I woke up from a dream that I can't remember and sat up in my bed. I smiled. Today was the day.

I looked to the floor where Mands was sleeping and decided to play a joke on her.

I stepped over her body and ran downstairs to the kitchen. I grabbed a glass if water and ran back upstairs.

I threw the water on her and she woke up screaming.

I burst out laughing at her face. Priceless!

"ALICE MARIE ANDERSON YOU BETTER RUN" she screamed as I ran out the door and down the hall to my staircase.

I turned around to see if she was catching up when all of a sudden there was no more floor.

I started tumbling down the stairs and landed at the bottom - hard

All of a sudden a sharp pain surged through my right arm.

"Ow ow ow ow ow ow" I sat up straight and cradled my hurt arm.

"ALICE IM GUNNA GE - oh my gosh what happened?!" Amanda ran to my side a sat down next to me.

"I slipped down the stairs and landed on my elbow wrong. It reallyyyy hurts." I whimpered

"Aw Al I'm sorry it's my fault. Lets get you upstairs and ill grab the ACE bandage."

We walked upstairs to my room and she returned with the bandage.

"Okay care- ow!! That hurt!" I exclaimed as she tightened the wrap.

"Sorry! It's gotta be tight tho!" She finished wrapping it up and I put it in the sling that I had from when I broke my arm last year.

"Thanks haha I'm clumsy" I said

"Yeah I know haha" she laughed.

"Great. I hurt my arm a couple hours before I have to sing for Simon! How am I supposed to play guitar now?!" I looked down at my arm, cursing my clumsiness.

"I'm so sorry Alice this sucks." Amanda sympathized.

"Mands it's my fault. I was the idiot who decided to pour water on you." I rolled my eyes. I'm so stupid.

"Haha yeah I'm getting you back for that!" She hopped up from my bed laughing.

"I think I've paid for it enough thank you very much!" I said motioning with my injured arm.

"Oh well whatever. Let's get you ready to see Simon! It's already 12:00! What time do you have to be there?" She asked walking to my closet.

"4:00" I replied.

"U should definately dress up a little since ur going to be meeting THE Simon Cowell. But not too dressy because that would be wierd." She rummaged through my things.

"Why don't I just wear black skinny jeans, with my creamy colored flowy top that says 'love' in gold, with my black and gold flats! And I can wear my gold anchor necklace!!!" I love anchors. Alot.

"That's perfecttttt!!" Amanda said drawing out the perfect.

"Okay ill go change! I need you to drive me there because I don't feel safe driving with this arm, so go pick a cute outfit as well!" I ran to the bathroom and awkwardly changed with one hand.

We both got ready and Amanda did my hair and makeup because I couldn't.

After we were all ready for the day, I texted Harry.

"Hey I have some good and bad news."

Sent.

He replied really quickly, surprisingly.

H: "oh no what's the bad news?"

Me: "we'll this morning I fell down the stairs and hurt my arm. I can't move it and therefore can't play guitar for when I sing for Simon."

H:" that's terrible! Well maybe Niall could play for you! Xx"

Me: "that's a great idea! Would he do that?"

H: "yeah of course! Ill ask him. What was the good news?"

Me: "oh just that Amanda is coming with me to be my right hand :)"

H: "oh yay! Can't wait ! Xx"

Me: "me niether! Let me know what Niall says!"

He didn't reply for a few minutes so I assumed the conversation was over.

I was almost ready for my audition type thing, but I had no idea what to sing. Some songs work better for my voice than others, but I need a second opinion.

"Mands!" I yelled across my room.

"Alice!!" She yelled back.

"What song should I sing for Simon?"

"Umm do you want a slow song or fast?" She got up and went to my computer to search songs.

"Slow probably. Haha I should do one of the songs One Direction performed on the X factor!" I laughed. I was kidding but my face fell when I saw that Amanda ACTUALLY liked the idea.

"No that's actually a good idea! You can sing torn?" She questioned.

"No not that one, it's over played. Hmm what about Chasing Cars? I just did the YouTube video with that song so my voice is accustomed to it." I love that song.

"YES YES YES YES!" She exclaimed clapping her hands together.

"Hahaha okay! Let's practice with it and ill tell Harry to tell Niall that I'm doing that song!"

I walked over to my phone and saw that I got a text from an unknown number. It said,

"Hey Alice? It's Niall. Harry told me you need me to play guitar? I'd love too !"

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppp!! Niall texted me!!

Me: "yeh I hurt my arm falling down the stairs :/ thanks so much for playing on such short notice! :)"

I can't believe he's playing for me. It's almost like I'm part of one direction. HA ha ha jokes.

N: "I'm sorry to hear that:( yeh I can play almost anything! Wat song ?"

Me: "and he's modest too ;) haha Chasing Cars. U know it right?" I joked of course he knew it!

N: "no I don't think I have ;) jk yeah I love it :)"

I love you.

What?

Me: "okay great! I can't thank you enough for playing!"

N: "my pleasure! Ill see you at 3:30? So we can practice a bit? "

Me: "Sounds great! See you :)"

I can't wait to sing with Niall :)
