There was a war.
Two sides, one called themselves Airaden, the other Lorburn, both fought over a small chunk of land, which possessed many necessary resources for a Village to reside.
It didn't last for long, however. The general of Lorburn's people, William, possessed a rare ability; sorcery. Airaden surrendered quickly, afraid of what William's powers could do. Lorburn celebrated their victory, and banished anyone from Lorburn and their descents from their new Village for eternity.
Airaden accepted the deal, glad to get off with just that, and settled not too far, only a thick forest and a winding river separating the rivals.
They kept their Village a democracy, where Lorburn quickly made the general who helped win the war, William, into King, and his heir would always rule.
He soon had a daughter, named Clarisse, and a few years after, his wife perished due to The Plague, despite all of his magical attempts to spare her.
William was heartbroken. His wife, the love of his life, died due to some stupid disease. But that wasn't the worst of it. He became angry. He sent off armies almost every day to Airaden's peaceful village, and did major damage there, for the soul purpose to distract himself.
But Airaden didn't dare to fight back. They didn't dare to do anything, knowing it would only anger Lorburn more.
Until one did. A poor man named Christopher Johnson from Airaden, who claimed to be a Sorcerer even more powerful than William himself, announced he had made a necklace that would keep the wearer immortal for as long as they had it on. He was willing to offer it to William in exchange for him to conclude his attacks on their village.
No one believed him, but he somehow managed to get over to Lorburn without getting killed, persuaded the King into the deal, and came back unscratched.
Everything was peaceful.
For the time being.
One day, king William had perished, and the necklace had disappeared.
The assumption was that it was stolen.....

So this was pretty short, yeah whatever, they will get longer soon. Well, this is a school project, and I thought it would be cool to put it on here, so I can get more opinions than my teachers. This could end up being terrible, but you never know. It could become #1 Wattpad story (yeah right) bye now!
