People often say "you're like a hipster" or "your so quiet, don't you like talking?"
Well yes I do fit into the hipster category and I do like talking. But i'm not like some crazy person who eats only organic food and has a farm in their back yard.
The one thing that always gets to me is when tourists asks me "Where is the best vegan restaurant?" the heck, I don't know.
I'm more than that, I have quarks and things that make me different, deal with it.
Anyway, enough of my rant.
"Are you ready yet?" Beth yells from the other room.
"Just about." Beth is my roommate. We are pretty close friends only knowing each other for three years, maybe a little too close.
"HA!" Beth jumps on my back.
"Oh my! Really?"
"Come on! We don't wan't to miss the big sales!" she says dragging me out of my room. Before we leave, I go into our kitchen and grab an apple. Can't shop on an empty stomach.
"Which car should we take?" Beth questions.
"Uh, let's take the Liam Nissan." I respond. We call my black Nissan Rogue, the Liam Nissan.
"But I thought you said it was out of gas?"
"Oh, well then let's take your car then." We walk out the front door, and down the white porch stairs.
"Rachel, you need to remember to do that" she nags.
"Okay, mom." I open the passenger side door, and get in.
"Well, you might want to get to work somehow, tomorrow." she starts the engine.
"Oh, but do they really need me there." I whine.
"Your bank account wants you there."
"Oh, whatever. Can I change the station?" I reach over to the stereo.
"Sure, but no Muse. They are too heavy metal for me." I nod, scrolling through her playlist I select the album Violator, by Depeche Mode.
The first song is Enjoy the Silence, immediately, I begin humming.

As we enter the store we get greeted by an H&M employee.
"Hi, I just wanted to let you guys know that all of our sweaters are 50% off and there is a buy one pair of shoes get the other half off deal."
"Thank you." Beth and I reply.
"I'm going to go over here and look at the jeans." Beth says.
"Okay, I'm going to go check out the sweaters first." I walk away from her, to the racks of sweaters. Oh my, there are so many! Well, I'll look left to right and then go over to that rack other there, and then that one.

After looking around the store I gather a couple of outfits. I manage to get my phone from my bag and text Beth.
Beth
R: Hey I got a few outfits, and I'm headed to the change rooms.
I walk into the dress rooms, to a employee.
"Hi, how many items do you have?"
"I have twelve items."
"Okay, you will be over here." she walks me over to a dress room with a curtain door. Stepping into the small room, I set down my items. Walking back to the black curtain, I close it the best I can.
I'll try my shirts first, I reach down and pick up a striped tee-shirt. I place the shirt in between my legs, while I take off my own shirt.
The curtain slides open behind me. "Huh?" I turn around.
"Oh my god! Get out you pervert!"

This chapter is kind of short so the next one will be longer.
