Dorky to Sappy romance

       I looked at myself in the mirror.

I decided to tie my curly red hair up in a messy bun. I put on my Levis Jeans and wore a black and white striped Shirt over it. I wore my lucky deathly hallows pendant around my neck and tied it securely.

"Bella, you don't want to be late on your first day of High school!" cried your mother.

As said, it was my first day of High School. I was extremely nervous. I consciously checked myself from all possible angles and felt that I shouldn't wear stripes.

I casually wore a shirt which read," I am a nerd and I love Harry Potter". I decided that I didn't want to be called 'the nerdy one' on the first day. That wouldn't be an idle way to start High School.

Finally, I decided to wear a casual white shirt and wore a black jacket over it. Dark. Goth? Totally.

"I hope you're not wearing a Harry Potter tee" said my father while sipping coffee at the breakfast table.

" No Dad. I'm controlling myself."

He just smiled . 

I heard the doorbell ring.

" Welcome. Welcome. It's Gemma right?" said your mother. ' Gemma' and mother had some small talk before Mother introduced us.

" Honey this is Gemma. She lives next door . She is also new at High School and you'll will be going and coming back together from now on.". Great. Now I got another person to socialize with. What if she didn't like Harry Potter or books? What if she was the boy-crazy-drug-addict types?

" Hey Im Gemma"

" hey, Im Bella"

" Bella. Like the Bella in Twilight?. "

" OMG Gemma. Do you like twilight? do you like books?"

" well....."

Now you were sure that Gemma was a bit of a bookworm like you.

" Bye MOm, Bye Dad"

You were now off to school talking about Divergent, Twilight, Hunger Games and Harry Potter of course with Gemma Styles.
