(A/N: Hey y'all I'm back! So I have been writing this for a while... I have writer's block so putting it on here might help)

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." I have been listening to them for about an hour. My English class talks only about the dead playwright and poet William Shakespeare. It's always "Shakespeare this" and "Shakespeare that." Why can't we talk about other books? This is an ENGLISH class, any book written in English should qualify for discussion. But no, the only thing we talk about is Shakespeare.

My name is Cassandra for those who don't know me. All of my friends call me Cassie. Some of my "friends" call me Casey. I prefer Casey to Cassie which I find ironic. I have been going to this school for YEARS but I only have one physical friend, he name is Jacqueline. She prefers Jack over Jackie. Everyone calls her Jackie, I call her Jack-O-Lantern. I say she is my only physical friend because she is. My other friends are of the book variety. The only reason I am friends with Jack is because of school projects. My mom thinks I'm a loner. This doesn't really work well with me. It's Jack... She doesn't know how to delegate and let others work. It's not that I mind but this year, there is only one group project, it also just so happens to be the only project. I wouldn't mind if she did the whole thing if it was something I didn't want to do but Jack doesn't know ANYTHING about this project. It is about my best friends, books. We are supposed to read three books between three partners and write stuff about it and "write" our own book combining plots, characters, and themes. She hasn't read a good book in her life! But I'm going to let her do the project. I just won't be in her group. I will get down on my knees and beg my teacher to be in a different group. Maybe I could get the teacher to assign groups... Hmmm... Wish me luck! And welcome to the library!
