Victor Vincent Fuentes, born from the famous Mafia of Mexico. He was raised by his cousin, and lived in a small house in Cali. Victor loved to play outside, and while everyone else thought he was weird, Kellin Bostwick thought otherwise. Kellin was his only friend, aside from Michael. Victor dreaded the day he would have to leave Kellin behind.
It's so weird writing in first person point of view, so don't be alarmed if I switch back in forth for a chapter or two.

Martha was the one who would watch over the little Fuentes brothers. They lived in California, and behind them lived a small boy named Kellin. Martha didn't want Victor to become vulnerable towards the little boy, and the solution was to prevent them from meeting. She had a large black fence that surrounded her property, and it was around six feet tall.
Yet that wasn't enough to keep Victor constrained. Kellin shed a tear of light before Vic's heart could turn completely dark. He would need that drop if he ever wanted to marry someone.
"Victor!", Martha yelled. Victor was sitting in front the porch. Where the fence met with the neighbors backyard, Victor turned to look at Martha.
"Yes, Ma?" The five year old asked slowly. Michael held onto Martha's leg looking at his big brother.
"How many times do I have to tell you, you aren't supposed to be that close to the fence!" Martha scolded him, Victor got up and walked towards his mother.
Martha grabbed him by the ear, tugging him inside. The five year old began to cry, but Martha was relentless.
"Mama! Stop! It hurts Mama! Mommy?" Victor cried out. Martha stopped and fell to the ground.
"Oh Victor, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you, how about you go to the neighbors and tell them that I need help?" Martha said shaking, Victor nodded and ran out into the street. He ran towards the Martinez residence where he received help for his mom.
Victor went to the backyard again, and through a little hole he saw another eye looking at him. He put his finger through the hole and heard someone exclaim.
"Ouch, why you do that for?", the person on the other side of the fence. Victor was surprised, and giggled.
"I'm sorwy, what's your name?", Victor said. He put his eye where the hole was.
"Kellin, that's what they call me!" Kellin exclaimed.
"My name is Victor." Victor said. Kellin tried to say it but failed.
"Can I call you Vicky?" Kellin asked, Victor scrunched up his nose.
"That's a girl name!" He said, Kellin frowned, before smiling again.
"How about, Vic!" Kellin exclaimed.
"Sure!" Vic said in a cheery voice, Kellin giggled.
"Vic, how do you look like?" Kellin asked, Vic stood still.
"I have brown eyes, and really curly hair, oh! I also have dark skin, how about you?" Vic described himself, he looked through the hole.
"I have green eyes, and straight hair, and I'm blonde. I'm really white! Like a paper!" Kellin said.
"Oh! My skin looks like and almond, and not only that but I have brown hair!" Vic said.
Kellin smiled. "Kellin! Get over here! It's time for your nap!"
Kellin whined, and looked at the hole again. "Let's meet at this spot again, tomorrow okay?!"
"Okay!" Vic responded. Kellin left and Vic was lonely again. Trapped in the black box.
The black box that would trap him in the darkness, only a little hole where the light could shed in.
