This is my first time to do such thing so please don't be too harsh. Anyways, I figured may be I could give you all a heads up by doing you all the favor of introducing my characters....

I - introduction: Characters

A. Andrew Morrison Higgins

Andrew Morrison Higgins is a dashing young man with average intelligence, amazing personality, and unbelievably high social status. In other words, he is everybody's dream boy. He's the guy every girl wants to be with and every boy dreams of being.

He's charismatic, charming, slightly egoistic (but who isn't) and simply full of humor. Some actually find it weird that he seems to never loose that perfect smile on his face even when he's stuck in the most depressing situations.

But whom better to point out how oddly shaped a ran-over cat's kidney looks like than Andrew?

Yes, he once laughed non-stop when he saw how ridiculously dismembered his sister's cat looked like when it accidentally got ran over by their father! In his defense, he was only 8 back at that time. If only he changed as he got older....

Some facts about his family:

Andrew is the first born and only son of Mr. Drew Ezekiel Higgins and Mrs. Mary Anne Higgins. Andrew's name is supposedly derived from both his parents' names. (It actually took them a whole day to figure out how to combine the names Anne and Drew together.)

Andrew swears to this day that he could have created a better name for himself if only he could back then (Mr. Know-it-all)

Unbelievable right?

And I bet, you thought Andrew was just another common name. WRONG!

As I mentioned earlier, Andrew has a sister. She was born 4 years after him. Her name is Ezma Morrison Higgins. Andrew helped name her, and that's why Andrew claims that he has a copyright to her name every time they quarrel- something Ezma doesn't appreciate.

Other normal-weird facts about Andrew:

Andrew has golden locks of wavy hair, but for unknown reasons, he has a few hair strands (near his nape) that are visibly chocolate brown. He doesn't bother to try to hide them, because it's what makes him "unique".

According to him, that it is.

He also has a pair of emerald eyes that often appear as dark shades of blue from afar. A quality that he got from his mother, Anne.

Take note, Andrew brags about how keen his eyesight is, specially when nobody's asking.

Andrew also has an irritating habit, but you guys can learn about that later.

Andrew's final quality that is worth taking note of is his nicely sculpted, slightly pale body, but he doesn't have abs. He does go to the gym every now and then, but he just strongly refuses against the idea of gaining abs. He finds it too worthless.

He thinks that abs are "overly worked tummy muscles."

But as you might have already guessed, he doesn't really need abs. He's smooth with the ladies even without them.

That's how hot the ladies think he is......

But enough about Andrew, let's move on to Reylyn Yanthie Jefferson Roberts, but she prefers if everyone calls her Re (pronounced as ray).

B. Reylyn Yanthie Jefferson Roberts

Re is a consistent honor student in her class, a classically trained musician, and an active member of her school. She's also ingenious, plain, and thrifty. In other words, she's BORING. She does nothing with her time (even the spare ones) but study, study, study.

Now, I know what you're thinking.

Her parents are probably so proud of her. WRONG!

Normal parents would do anything to have a daughter like Re, but Re's parents are NOT exactly NORMAL.

According to Re, saying that her parents are "the proudest parents that ever walked on the face of the Earth" is the biggest lie that could ever come out of her scarlet lips.

This fact both always saddens and enrages her...

So may be now your saying : "she's exaggerating."

Well, you really can't blame her.

She's always called up to the stage to receive an award/certificate/medal/trophy for

something she accomplished- something that caused her multiple nights of throbbing head aches or noticeable layers upon layers of eye-bags- yet all her parents seem to notice is how tiresome she looks.

When the attendance of her parents is needed for an activity she joined, she hesitates to ask them to assist her simply because they might seem too disconnected or disinterested (which hurts).

Her parents are Mr. Timothy Jackson Roberts and Mrs. Cassandra Jefferson Roberts.

Mr. Timothy is a top-notch lawyer whom works for the local legal center in their town.

(the "where" part of this story is yet to be revealed)

And Mrs. Cassandra is a stay-at-home mom, but she actually has a PhD. When she and Timothy had Reylyn, she decided that it would be best if she just stayed home and took care of their precious angel......

If you noticed that Re's name doesn't resemble her parents' it's because she was named after her grandparents: Reynold Jackson Roberts (father of her dad) and Lyndsy Adams Jefferson (mother of her mom). Re's parents wanted her name to have a piece of her grandparents' names even though their relationship with them is a blur.

Off course, Re is completely oblivious about this issue, in fact, she has never met her grandparents before, and her parents are so uptight about the topic that Re just figured it would be better if she didn't ask anything.

More on that issue and on Re's relatives on future chapters.

Other things about Re:

Re has hazelnut brown hair with curls at the very end. Her hair is long enough that it just falls above her waist. She usually ties them into a messy knot. And when i say messy i mean TOTALLY MESSY!

If you guys are wondering what kind of girl she is- aside from the fact that she is quite boring, well......

She likes-hates dresses. She likes them because of the way they hug her body into a shape, but she hates them because she hates anything that's too sexist. SEXIST. So she only wears dresses for important occasions, but not the ones with ribbons, ruffles or PINK....

God, she HATES PINK!

Aside from her binomial attitude towards dresses, well she's practically normal, clothing-wise. Just don't make her use heels; she'll look like a waddling duck wearing heels!!!

And even a waddling duck lucks better when compared....

When it comes to personality, she's practically a TEEN. Hormones and insecurities in all.

And though she's a boring person, no one could say anything wrong about her well-toned body. She has PREMATURE abs....

Such weird terms.

Unfortunately, there's a sad story behind that perfectly molded body of hers.

And NO. She wasn't raped or molested or anything that involves crime against women or children.....

Don't want to give you the wrong idea.

As you can tell, Andrew and Re are two completely different personalities, but somehow, destiny will play its game and Andrew and Re's lives would turn out to be connected in more ways than one.
