It was now towards the end of the school year and Anthony and Stephanie were still together. Everyone was excited about graduation and the senior trip and boosted about Prom. The girls were going crazy about being Prom Queen and the guys were being the cocky about being Prom King. Soccer season was over and their school won the championship. Stephanie and her friends and Anthony and his friends were sitting together in a big group talking about Prom. Well…mostly the girls the guys were just trying to brace on what to get and do.
“I’m going to go with a Champagne colored dress” said Stephanie.
“That’ll be a good color on you I want to go with maybe a green ball gown” said Ember.
“I think I would get a ball gown also but a light blue or a dark blue” said Skylar.
Everyone kept conversing all day and decided to go shopping for prom after school. It was now after school and Anthony and the guys decided to hang out together while the girl went out to shop. Stephanie got in her new Blue 2011 Chevy Cruse. She was finally able to get her license and a car. Things were going good and she felt the clouds were clearing and the sun was shining down on her.
The girls arrived to one of the biggest dress stores in the town and that had every style and color you could think of. Everyone went separate ways and looked around the shops. Three hours later everyone finally go the dress they wanted. Everyone paid for all of their dresses, shoes and jewelry and went out to lunch.
Soon the day was over and Stephanie was at home. She hasn’t texted Shelly much but she had a boyfriend so basically she moved on but still hated Anthony’s guts. Stephanie was sitting on the couch laughing with Anthony as they disagreed on a TV show and they were just telling jokes. Stephanie couldn’t lie but she loved Anthony. If someone told she had to stop loving Anthony or she’ll be jumped. She chose to get jumped. Fishy I know but it was true she was in the deep and middle of love’s big ocean. Stephanie still had her own room but she would sleep in bed with Anthony when she was scared or when she wanted to talk till she fell asleep when she couldn’t in the first place.
Prom was 5 days away and Stephanie still had to make sure Anthony had the right suit. She called Ember and Skylar to go take him shopping for a tux. She didn’t want to ruin her surprise seeing he was dressed handsome. She did help Ember’s prom date. Her date was Jason. He had a black tie and black tux. And everything else was green. She was pumped for prom. Skylar and Trevor argued on going to prom with each other but finally shut up and agreed to go with each other.
“YES! Oh my, gosh!” yelled Anthony happily holding a letter.
“Babe what happened?” asked Stephanie coming to him but before she realized what was happening she was lifted in the air and given a quick make-out kiss and he pulled away.
“I got accepted into the University of Tampa! I’m going to be one of the awesome soccer players babe this is so great!” said Anthony giving her another kiss.
That’s when Stephanie froze. His school was in Florida but hers was in New York.
“Steph this is so awesome. I can’t wait till we move up there together” said Anthony with a huge smile looking at the letter.
“Yeah it’ll be so exciting” said Stephanie with a smile and Anthony left her to go call his parents who were away on a business trip. Stephanie’s smile disappeared and she went upstairs to her room locking her door and cried herself to sleep.
It was the next day and Stephanie got up and got ready for school. She took a 10 minute shower and then she went to get dressed. She put on Blue colored skinny jeans and put on a white tank top. She put on her combats boots and she brushed out her hair leaving it down. She put on hoop earring and did her makeup a light Smokey eye and light red lipstick. Stephanie packed her backpack and grabbed her car keys and headed straight out the door deciding to eat breakfast at school. She needed to talk to Ember. She had her car and license also and she was meeting her at school early saying she really had urgent news.
