Teenage Hourglass
A bike, stranded in the middle of the ocean.
Secluded by an ocean of obedience and powerful currents.
Isolated by innocence, delirious to the outside world.
Neglected by the sun and forgotten by its choice of God.
No hope, thus it waits.
No faith, thus it floats.
Days turn eternal, a cloudy pearl white of expectations.
Behind it, a shadow of mourn.
Wheels popped, treading nowhere.
Mind, going somewhere.
Leaving its cast body behind.
Flies freely, yet still chained.
Attached, yet unattached.
It's secret...Time.
We stop, time moves.
We move, time stops.
Everything moves.
Everything stops.
Yet time will go on without us.
Proceeding in its darkly assigned
tempo.
Tick Tock.
