Sick day - Rubber Bang

Everyone has bad days, but very fue bad days are this bad. Ross woke up with a monster headache, it was the type of pain most can't bear for long. His head was pounding and he couldn't think straight, he had all ready missed a lot of work do to his morning caused by his - now ex - wife Holly leaving him for a different boy.
Ross forced through the morning, forgeting to eat breakfast and leaving his laptop on his dresser. He drove to work hoping his headache would die down.

"Hey Ross!" Danny jumped up and ran to Ross, who had just come in the door. "Long time no see!"

"Hey Dan." Ross tryed to sound happy to see his friend, but failed do to the pounding of his head.

"Ross? You okay?" Dan asked letting the worry seep into his voice

"Fine." Ross really didn't want to talk, he just wanted to get today over with.

"Uhhh... okay.... Well we have to record some stuff today but if your not up to it-"

"Dan," Ross began, not wanting to make someone else record "I'm fine, just a little bummed about... well ya' know"

"Okay, well I guess I'll meet you there in 5?" Dan asked feeling sorry for Ross.

Ross nodded and went to his desk, he grabbedsome advil from a bottle in his desk, even though he didn't have breakfast. This was going to be one day.
Danny and Ross had recorded almost 4 episodes of steam train, there was about 3 minutes left on the fourt episode and Ross atarted to feel really sick.

"Shut up dude, that didn't happen!" Dan yelled at a comment Ross had made.

"Suzy said it did!" Ross replayed, his voice cracked and Dan gave him a sympathetic look most likely do to the fact Ross's face looked tired.

"Well Suzy is a fucking lier!" Dan finally after a moment of silents. "Next time on steam train, More lieing Ross!"

Dan turned off all the equipment and sat down beside Ross. Ross's stomach grumble and Dan instantly knew Ross hadn't eaten all day.

"Ross have you eaten?" Dan knew the answer

" Nope." Ross replayed holding his head.

Dan signed reaching over to Ross and hugging him. "Ross you gotta start taking care of yourself..." Dan cuddle close to Ross getting lost in his sweet sent.
Ross let out a whimper as his head began to pound harder.

"Ross?!?" Dans paniced voice made Ross feel bad for scarring him.

"I... hannww" Ross held his head as Dan hugged him and wispers calming words into his ear.

Dan carried Ross into the kitchen and made Ross a sandwich, he sat with Ross and made sure he finished the hole thing then he made Ross drank a glass of water. Not once did Dan leave Ross's side. After finishing his food Ross started to feel better but still had a headache.

"Ross," Danny began " I hate it when you do this"

The words confused Ross, hated what? Did he do something wrong?

"Ross your one of the coolest guys i know, and i can't stand when you treat yourself like shit." Dan hugged Ross and gently kissed his forehead "please Ross, promise me you'll take care of your self. I l don't know what I'd do if I lost you."

It took Ross a minute to understand what just happened, what Dan had just said. Ross thought Dan didn't care, he thought that all the grumps didn't really care, but now he knew he was wrong.

Ross looked up at Dan and snuggled close to him befor whispering, " I promise"

Dan loved Ross and without a second thought he kissed Ross on the lips

" I love you." He whisperd

" I love you too" Ross replayed befor falling asleep.
