"Are you sure you want to stay hermione nerd" ginny asked her in a very sick of it voice.
"You need a change" ginny continued. "I'll let you think about it" she said and she left with a swing of her hips.

Hermione was left wearing her casual jeans and top to study, she hadn't  had fun all summer and she only had about ten minutes until she boarded the train as a prefect for a studious year.

True,she had made changing her New Years resolution. That's it she thought and jumped up feeling excited.

. "Hey,mum can I go shopping" hermione asked her mum. Looking very curious and confused her mother asked "why,darling" "oh,I fancied a change" hermione answered with a smirk on her face that was very unusual.

Jean granger let her go and sat down for a muggle show called 'modern family'
Hermione arrived at the shopping centre and walked straight into a shop called makeover.

"Hey,dear what can we do for you" a pretty auburn lady asked her. "Oh it's hermione" another excited lady said coming into the lit up room."hey,Ella" hermione greeted her,relived that she could be styled by someone she knew.

Hermione had always felt comfortable around Ella,she thought it was because her mum had approved. "I knew you would change your mind,follow me" Ella instructed,she led hermione to a stylish black and white room.

The room was covered in makeup,the majority purple. To the left was a rack full of dresses that she would have called 'sexy'. Some were black and short with many layers where as others were coulers such as blue which were long and girly.

She tried on a few pink ones but found they were to frilly,maybe she would warm up to them later.ella and hermione finally decided on a short black one similar to the one she saw on the rack.

Ella told her that it was time for her hair. Hermione was glad that she was getting rid of the bushy hair. She sat in front of a mirror that had lights on it.

When Ella was done,hermione could hardly recognise herself.her hair was slicked back and pulled into a bun similar to professor mcgongalls just looser.
She had red cheeks and sparkly hot pink lips.

" your done but I'm going to give you a few beauty products for free" Ella said. She gave hermione a gold bracelet,some lipstick and many other makeup items.

Hermione thanked Ella and left the room. She checked her watch and she was almost late. She ducked home put on her dress and said goodbye to her mother in the car.

She overheard Ron saying to Harry "where's mione,she's never late" and they started coming up with possible reasons.

She walked onto the train,and all eyes were on her.the mysterious stylish hermione.
She sat on the seat in the prefect compartment. Suddenly she heard a very familiar voice,the voice of Draco malfoy. She tightened her grip on her wand,ready for an insult.

It didn't come. "Excuse me,the prefect should be sitting here" he said with a look of annoyance. "On don't ya recognise me malfoy" hermione said in a mock baby tone.

"Granger? You look,look hot" malfoy said stumbling for words. "Surprisingly".
"Well,thanks for the compliment" she said rolling her eyes.

"First years,this way" hermione said. She backed forward and accidentally bumped into Draco,she apologised and blushed. For a split second hermione felt a spark but ignored it.
