The Adventures Of Artemis And Bart

Moving In

It's been almost 2 years since Wally's Death. While everyone still misses him some more than others that hasn't stopped the team from extending, leaving for the cave to get quite full for those who sleep there.

The cave was rebuilt in an extinct volcano in hawii and while it is much bigger then the original it only had so many rooms.

Bart really enjoyed the company at first, but now it's starting to get annoying. He has started going to Artemis house seeing as she still hasn't gotten out of the habit of shopping for a speedster. She would of probably have gotten out of it by now if it wasn't for Bart.

He goes there so much he basically lives there. Artemis doesn't mind that much she enjoys the company, especially since she left the team. Deciding to focus on school. She still sees all of them from time to time and is always up for a mission if they need her.

But back to Bart, today they got 2 new recruits named starfire and raven and of course Bart heard of them in the future and was excited to meet them but he's was not happy one bit when Batgirl and Auqalad said they are going to haft to start bunking. While they have Mention that this would happen eventually he sure as hell wasn't ready.

Of course he didn't mind when they first metion it. He was filled with joy. The next time they brought it up they ended up picking who they would roomed with and jaime and Bart instantly went to each other. This made him extremely happy that eventually they would get to room together, that was until he found out that jaime snored, very loudly at that.

And no matter how much he loved jaime, he needed his beauty sleep.

Luckily, Artemis was there today so he could finally hatch his plan. As soon as Batgirl and Auqalad were done with there anoucements he dragged all 3 into the kitchen.

"Wow, slow down kid" Artemis spoked

"I need to ask you a question,well all 3 of you a question" said a hopeful Bart

As they all stared at him waiting for him to speak, which it look like he's was having trouble with at the moment, his next words came out all jumbled

"canimoveinwithartemisnoneofyouhavedoneanythingwrongitsjustthatitsgettingreallycrowedhereandjaimesnoressoloudlyandtheyalleatmyfoodevenwheniputmynameonitanditsnotlikeimnotoverthereallthetimeanywaysocaniplease"

"Umm,sure I don't mind"
"Why not"
"Wait, what did you say"

Barbra has heard speed talking before, but never could really understand it, how anyone could astounded her. The only thing she got from Bart was please.

"He's wants to move in with me because it's getting crowed around here and he doesn't want to share a room with Jaime anymore because he snores."

"Well as long as you don't be late to training."

"I won't I swear, this is going to be so crash. I'm going to start packing." Bart said all to excitedly as he ran to his room

As auqalad poitlitey excused himself, Barbra started to talk to Artemis.

"So have seen him"

"Barbra, he told me not to tell you, I'm sorry"

"Why not,and why did he not tell me, does he think I'm going to tell Bruce or something"

As Artemis didn't respond and instead she looked slightly guilty, Barbra new what the answer was

"Why would he think that, I thought he new me better than that I would never betray him like that"

"Maybe it's not, maybe it's because we're talking about batman and he knows dick would tell you, and he's probably going to bat glare you until he gets it out of you"

"I guess your right, I really just wanna know what happened between the two."

"Me to, I'm going to help Bart pack" she said as she started walking away

"Hey artemis" as artemis turned around she continued to speak it's "good to see you"

"You to" Artemis responded, then continued to barts room or old room now

Bart didn't have much stuff, seeing as he got here not that long ago and didn't bring anything with him clothes wise, the stuff he did get weren't exactly new his grandfather gave him some of wallys old clothes, most of them were baggy on him, but they did eventually go shopping to get him clothes of his own sizes, he still has wallys and plans to keep them.

As Artemis entered Barts room it was almost completely bare. The bed was stripped of its sheets and everything he once had in there were in a small suitcase in the corner, that he was just now zipping up.

"You ready to go" Artemis said slightly surprising Bart

"Yeah, race you their" Artemis was barely able to register what he said before she heard his reconigtion code being boomed out in the cave

'Why did he run, he doesn't even have a key' as she felt for her back pocket where she had hers only to realize he took it.

"Dammit" she said, he didn't just take her house keys but also her car keys, that would be fine if her house wasn't so far from the zeta tubes

By the time Artemis got home a total of 2 hours have passed, now that time could of been shorter, but the problem was she had to wait for the tow truck to get where she left her car and convince him while she didn't had the keys to show him his license and reconigtion that it was indeed her car, then ended up having to walk home while the tow truck drag her car to her house he wouldn't give her a ride which only ticked her off more then she was already

When she finally got home she was happy to see her car there also

As she went up the steps Bart opened the door before she could even knock.

"What took you so long"

"You took my keys" she said using force on the word keys

"Oh yeah sorry, here yah go" as he handed her her keys, she came in and ask if he had already put his stuff up in her spare room

"Oh yeah about that, there someone in there you might wanna see"

As she headed towards the guess room with Bart following close behind her, she wasn't that surprised to see a sleeping baby with red hair in a crib with a note on it in familiar hand writing

Hey sis I need you to watch lian for me all her stuff is there and don't worry you'll only have her for about a week then arsenal should pick her up
