Chapter 1

Riders prospective
Bleep. Bleep. Bleep. My alarm clock went off. Today is the first day of 7th grade. Hi, I'm Rider. And yes I am a girl. I check my phone and see I have three messages from my friend Kendell. And yes he is a boy.

Kendells prospective
Ahhhhhhhhhh! God.  Why dose she have to scream when she can't find her makeup brush. Ugh! Well better get up.  I text Rider my friend.
Me: Hey you awake?
(no respond)
Me: Gtg love you bye.
Wait.... DID I JUST TEXT THAT!??
Me: Sorry that was for my aunt.
Ok so I like Rider. I know your probably thinking just ask her out if she says no then avoid her. I would totaly work if we went best friends. We have been best friends sciene pre school. If this didn't work out that would ruin our friendship I just don't want to do that.
Riders prospective
I log into my phone and read the text from Kendell.
Kendell: Hey you awake?
Kendell: Gtg love you bye.
Kendell: Sorry that was for my aunt.
I turned off my phone. I kinda wish the I love you text was for me though. I know it's kinda weird that Im in love with my best friend. OK off that topic I got ready for the first day of hell. Obviously I hate school. What's the point? School is full of mean teachers idiot boys and mean girls. Oh well I have Kendell, and that's all I need. Ok so after thinking about that I got ready for school.  I put on my light blue crop top. My white and blue ombre cardigan. And denim light washed high wasted shorts. After I went down stairs to eat breakfast. I went back up stairs to my bath room. I brushed my teeth and hair. Then I curled my hair and put a backwards blue baseball hat on.  I had more time so uncalled across the street to Kendells house. I rang the door bell and his mom let me inside and told me Kendell was upstairs in his room.  I thanked her, put my stuff down and went up stairs. I walked in to Kendells room and saw him in sweatpants and shirtless on his phone. I started to stare when he noticed me. 
Kendell: Like what you see?
I snapped out of it and replied
Rider: Whatever hurry up were gonna be late for the first day of hell.
Kendell: Why do you call school that it's not hell.
Rider: Maybe not for you because hmm let's see. Well you captain of the foot ball team. And the lacrosse team. And the basket ball team. I wounder why every one likes you?
Kendell: I know I am pretty awesome.
Rider: Shut up and hurry up were gonna be late if we keep talking. And you know your mom with pictures. Hurry!
Kendell: I'm coming I'm coming.
We went down stairs and when we were walking down the stairs Kendells mom made us walk slow so she could get pictures.
Mrs. Jonson: Walk slower Kendell.
Kendell: Mom we need to get to school.
Rider: Just let her take pictures it will be over with soon.
Kendell: Fine.
After we were done taking pictures Kendell and I went into the garage and got our long boards and headed out.
