The brand new mall has opened in town! People swarmed in on opening day to see this massive building. It had three floors, 3 food courts(one on each floor), over one-hundred fifty stores of all kinds, and a strange attraction.
With a mall this large it was too expensive to hire and keep paying people to help keep the building clean and people happy. The famous toy company, ToyFaz, answered the call to this problem. They sent the mall several shipments of animatronic characters to help clean the place and others to help point people in the direction of the store they were looking for.
People of course would not enjoy being around animatronics after the events of the Fazbear's Pizzeria decades ago. No one forgot those stories. To solve this problem, ToyFaz designed the animatronics to look more human like and more friendly. This actually worked! People loved the human animatronics. Everyone loved to asked the animatronics where to go.
Years passed and the strange attractions grew old to people. Life was always busy and everyone needed to get to a certain place as soon as possible and get out. With the mall being opened for eleven years now, everyone pretty much knew where all the stores where. The animatronics became unneeded and just an expensive cost to keep up...so they were removed.
Over the next 2 years, most of the old animatronics had been sold for scrap or parts for various machines, but a few were tossed into storage. After a few months of the animatronics being decommissioned, some children started to notice the animatronics' disappearance. The one mos tof them noticed the most was their favorite one, Marcus. He was the one animatronic that was allowed to free roam the mall and greet people, serve food to tables, and point people to a store.
Soon the animatronics had been forgotten about by everyone, including the mall. No one remembered throwing some of the old ones into storage years before. Employees would always comment about how it felt sad and depressing in the storage room whenever they would go in there and pile more stuff in there.
One day a mall cop reported seeing a person come out of the storage room early that morning while it was still dark. He tried to catch the person but lost him. He went back to the storage room to look at what the person might have been doing and he heard buzzes and whizzes, very hydrolic-like noises. Him and a few other cops, after reporting this, went back to it to listen for the sounds. It was silent. Little did they know the danger watching them that very second in the pile. Green glowing eyes fixed right on the guard from the morning before...
