This is my first story and I have no idea how it is going to turn out...I hope you like it!
I wake up to my favorite song I set for my alarm. I yawn, and fall back into my bed. Is school worth it?? Maybe I should just drop out! I decide I would probably get in so much trouble...so I hop out of bed. I get dressed, brush my teeth, and put my much needed make-up on. I look at myself one last time in the mirror. I notice my petit figures. My blue/green eyes sparkles with determination, but were accented with exhaustion. My dirty blond hair was straightened as best as I could. As I head out the door, I yell goodbye to my family and prepare for the walk to school. It was a beautiful, sunny day. It was hot, but windy, just the right weather. As I round the final corner to school, I check the time. I have 10 minutes, that's enough to visit my friends. I decide to head to my locker first so I can spend as much time as possible with my friends before another exhausting day. As I go to open my locker, I notice a slip of pretty light pink paper float down to the floor. I pick it up, and in beautiful handwriting, the note reads:

I stare at the piece of paper, and a smile slowly appears on my face. I assess the writing and I don't recognize it. I turn the note over, looking for a name...but there is none to be found. I quickly look around to see if anyone if watching me, but the hallway is too busy. As I gather the rest of my binders, I can't keep the big smile off my face. Maybe this day won't be as bad as I thought :-)
