This is my first time writing a book also first time writing a book on Wattpad. I hope you guys like it. This is a story based off of "All Summer in a Day" by Ray Bradbury. But this is William's Point of view.
Hi, my name is William. I was born here in Venus also go to school here. I live with my grandparents. My mother died when I was born. My father didn't really want a kid, so he abused me and blamed me for my mothers death when I was little. Soon he had enough with me, he dumped me at my grandparents house. They took me in with open hands, but I'll never forgive my father.
A Couple of Years Later
It was early morning at school. The teacher was running late so we sat there and did nothing. Scientist say that the sun will come out tomorrow. But I doubt it. Today we had to write a poem about the sun, "Who wants to go first??" The teacher asked. No one raised their hand but the new stupid freak Margot. Margot is the newest kid on Planet Venus, she moved here 5 years ago from Ohio. She read, "I think the sun is a flower, that blooms for just one hour." How could she know what the sun looked like. Even though she is originally from from Earth doesn't mean she remembers it.
"Aw, you didn't write that!" The whole class protested
"I did" Margot mumbled
