The Prophecy of the Wolf War

"Dakota... Your name is Dakota..."

"I know that Leila, but why is that?"

"Because, it is a name for the strong, for the worthy, for the ones destined to lead the alphas of the pack..."

"I'm not strong... I'm not even a wolf... I'm nothing compared to the rest of the pack..."

"That isn't true and you know it... You can talk to us Dakota, you can hear us. You are special. I sense something is about to dawn upon us, it may be possible that the great prophecy is drawing near.. We will need your help.."

"Leila, will you tell me the great prophecy and the story of the House of Wolves again..?"

"Alright, lay back and rest and I'll tell you..."

"The House of wolves has been around for many generations, as long as wolves. It has always been here to protect and house even the earliest of our species. It's said when a member of the House of Wolves dies, their spirit becomes one with the house and makes it stronger. There's a prophecy foretold by out ancient ancestors of a most peculiar of wolves that is different from the rest, depicted as weaker but truly their savior, a god among the wolves. It's said that the Fenrir of the ancient times will come out of the darkness and fight to take back the right of the wolf name; but one crucial piece of the House of Wolves, a fellow member, will unlock the secrets hidden away within this house and transform from beast to God and obtain the power to retaliate against the Fenrir.. The power to win the War against the Fenrir.."

I had a slight feeling you are the one the prophecy tells of Dakota, but you are not ready to be told this. The stress and responsibility is not yet able to be withstood by you, you need more experience, and we have to know for sure first...

authors note: this will be my first major write and I'm excited to say the least. This is not a chapter, but more of like a prelude. I hope you guys enjoy the story and if you do or know someone else who might, please spread the word. It is my dream to write at least one story that goes one big, at least one major accomplishment.  This is completely brought out of my imagination, there is a possibility this or something similar could be in an old myth or legend, but I have no knowledge of it if there is. Fenrir's I know are from Norse mythology, where Thor and Loki comes from for those who do not know, very common mythology among Vikings I believe, but from what I understand they are like wolves-but depicted differently. Usually as giant beasts like Cerberus, the guard dog of Hades, and sometimes with other elements like ice, feel free to google them if I'm not being clear enough.
