Simon Snow likes plants. That's an understatement; Simon Snow loves plants. He owns a lot of plants. His boyfriend Baz ... He kinda hates all the plants that Simon has, but they make Simon happy so Baz doesn't say anything.

But when Simon moved out of his and Penny's apartment and into Baz's, then Baz had something to say. Baz did not want all fifty of Simon's stupid plants in his house. He did not. So the day him and Simon were moving his things from the U-Haul he stopped Simon and said:

"No fucking plants in my house" in the most serious tone he could muster. Which, at the time, wasn't very serious due to the fact that Simon was looking up at Baz and his eyes were big and blue and he looked oh so sleepy and oh so cuddly.

"Why not?" he asked, and then yawned. He had the audacity to yawn. When Simon Snow yawns, it's the cutest thing ever (in Baz's opinion).

All Baz could say was "because you have too many!" but Baz's resolve was slowly crumbling as Simon looked even cuter and cuddlier than he was ready for.

"Oh fuck, fine Simon!" he said, throwing his hands up in the air. Simon gave him a sleepy smile and climbed into the truck of the moving van and grabbed some of his plants. "Put them out on the terrace, though" Baz said and Simon nodded, his curls bouncing on his head.

Baz smiled slightly and Simon stooped to kiss his cheek before hopping out of the van and walking toward the apartment building.

Baz was watching Simon walk into the building (because how could he not?!) when Simon stopped and looked down. Simon looked at Baz with a worried look and said "Baz, I stepped on my glucose plant's petal" and frowned.
"I got glucose every where" he pouted.

Baz threw his head back and laughed. "Glucose plant?" he asked, still laughing. Simon nodded a bit and Baz walked towards Simon and hugged him, laughing into Simon's curls. Simon pouted but hugged Baz back and sniffled a bit. "Am I a bad plant person? I hope not, I really like plants Baz!" he exclaimed.

"Snow" Baz said, sobering up from his laughing fit, "all plants have glucose. It's part of photosynthesis" he said, holding Simon at an arms length away.

Simon's mouth shaped into a perfect "O" as he searched Baz's face. "Oh. Well. I knew that, thanks for the reassurance, babe" Simon said, taking his arms from around Baz's middle and patting his chest and picking up the rest of the plants and heading inside.

Baz smiled and went back to the U-Haul to gather the last of Simon's "glucose plants."
