Gather round my children

Lend me your ears

Let me tell of ancient times

Forgotten for far too many years

Tales of love, war and magic

In a land so raw and pure

When the gods were young

And the world insecure

Hear the mighty roar of dragons

The clash of battle

See the eagles fly

Their noble riders astraddle

Witness the might of the Old Tongue

Weilded by those most powerful

Cower in fear and awe

At words both wondrous and dreadful

Harken! The raven softly calls

Shadows stir and waken

As the dangerous night draws near

Shield yourselves from souls forsaken

Gather round the fire

My tale is about to begin

Prepare yourselves

Listen to the yarn I shall spin
