"Come on Sky", yelled Chase."Chill I'm just going to be 5 more minutes".Chase started to frown" We've been in this book store for 1 hour"."Quit whining,I'm just trying to find the new Lost Twins book."Rolling her eyes Sky decided she'd just go find it without Chase next weekend.After all her mother rarely seemed to care where she went."Let's go grab some StarBucks,I'm dying to try the new frappichino."Chase said excitedly."Sure as long as I can sit down and finish this chapter of May's Hideaway "."Do you ever stop reading?Soon you'll become one of the characters in the book."Chase said sarcastically.But little did he know that's all she'd ever want.She replied by smiling because that's all it took sometimes,just a smile.When they got to Starbucks Sky ran towards a booth and started reading.Chase went in line and placed an order.Sky smiled as Chase came back with the drinks."Why don't you like books?"She asked Chase tucking a piece of hair behind her ear."I just would rather live the journey's than read about them."He said with a sigh.Sky frowned knowing her answer was the complete opposite."Plus reading is your thing it's your passion,who knows maybe someday you'll write a book. After a half hour of talking in Starbucks she decided to head home."Were you with your boyfriend."Her mom asked in a cheeky voice as Sky walked in the door."He's my just my friend."Sky said rolling her eyes.Sky and Chase had been friends since kindergarten because he was the only one who'd talk to her.As Sky headed to her room she flopped on to her bed.She just laid there a while hoping she could go on a journey.As Sky got up to go get ready for bed she noticed a note on her book shelf.Sky,away in the woods by the old creepy house lies a book beyond compare,it said written in bold letters.Sky was frightened.Who would leave this note?What is so important about the book?Why her?Sky decided to tuck the note in her book bag and worry about it tomorrow.
