Where to, when asked by you;
In a momentary hurry I say to
My self - there, where you are,
And there, where you do not see me.
Though these eyes pierce through
The invisible veil of an admirer's glance
Providing me the voluntary stance
Of peace, serenity and solitude
In a crowd of people unknown;
Each soul hurrying to somewhere,
Amidst the hurry, I stand still here
To watch you disappear into the
Moving canopy of human heads,
Under which my steps then move
And I walk away.
