A/N: I generally try to do 2000 word chapters on my stories, but this one will just be done as inspiration comes. Hope you guys enjoy. It takes place 6th year.

Disclaimer: I'm not JKR sorry. Just my plot.

Luna loved spending her mornings playing with the plimpies in the lake. She would feed them and pet them, and confide in them her secrets and feelings. She didn't have many friends, so she made a habit of this.

"Luna? Good morning. I didn't expect to see anyone out here this early." Harry walked up towards her, and the lake. "Whats up?"

"Oh, Hello Harry. I've been chatting with the plimpies. I quite miss the D.A. you know. It was like having friends." Luna looked thoughtful for a second, and then turned to the lake. A plimpy was rushing forward, it was nearly transparent, but resembled a toad with long back legs and a duck beak. Luna fed it a cucumber disk before.

"Oh, these guys are adorable." Harry knelt down to appraise the little guy. The plimpy turned to Harry and kicked a splash of water in his face before scurrying back across the surface of the water. "Did I do something wrong?" Harry asked, drying his face on his robes. "I hope I didn't drive it away."

Luna turned to Harry again, a 'duh' look on her face, but her words disputed the look on her face.

"Oh no, quite the opposite. The splash is quite the honor in their culture. No doubt brought by the compliment of being able to see them." Luna smiled at Harry, and made to stand up.

Harry followed form, and soon found they were very close together. Neither moved, though, because it felt right. Harry leaned in towards Luna, hoping for a kiss.

She put a carrot to his lips, and he kissed it. He turned a crimson red, rivaling that of the Gryffindor house crest.
