Evlyn was a new planet that was born from the collision of Mercury and Neptune. At least that's what I read in my 'Planet History' text book. It happened all the way back in 8675, so I don't see why it matters so much. I mean, I get how it is the planet's 100th anniversary today, but why are we celebrating the death of two planets? Is it just because of the fact that we pretty much live on the grave of them? If it's like that, then that's just sickening. We should be grieving instead of dancing around on their graves.
Oh, my bad, I'm sorry for ranting to you. You see, I usually rant to my 22nd brother, Drein, but he will take any reason to party. My name is Finn, and I currently live on this planet grave, Evlyn. It's not so bad until you think of how it was created. It's actually considered one of the most modern, high fashion planets in the solar system. Its got great beaches, big cities, and is known for its amazing spacecraft engineering.
My mom, dad, 34 brothers, and 22 sisters live in a small 10 story house on a craterhood called Minerva Avenue.Originally, my parents are from Jupiter, but during an astroid attack, fled to Evlyn. Luckily, they'd only had one child at the time, Darwin, and were able to get out safely. The rest of us were born here in Evlyn. From there on, everything kind of fit into place.
We all attended the craterhood school system, Minerva School of Spacecraft Engineering. I just began attending the high school, and am dying to get out. I continue to remind myself that I only have one more year, but that's still not comforting. As cool as spacecraft engineering is, it's super boring until you actually get to build stuff. At least I finally had a girlfriend to sort of distract me from all that.
There she was. She sat exactly 2 seats away from me, and 1 row down. She was an Arkanov girl, with beautiful lilac hair and a wonderful smile. The third sun shined down on her so perfectly, and then began to set. She was one of a kind, and was the only kind I wanted. She turned her head and caught me glancing at her. My eyes caught her gorgeous peach eyes. For a slight moment she blushed and then turned back to pay attention to whatever Mr.Helklar was boring us with today.
"So, Finn, I get that you know the answer to question C?" said a striking, gurgly like voice from the front of the class. I quickly turned my head to the front of the class and away from Monalis, my girlfriend. I continued to wonder and wonder. What would I say? RING! RING! The bell saved me this time luckily. I quickly grabbed my things and ran out of the classroom as Helklar's glare shot at me like laser beams. I just smiled back.
