I have heard these comments from the start of middle school. The one who started it all? Chase.
Chase Taylor. He is the typical jock, man slut, bad boy. He is also the next in line Alpha of the Crescent pack. Me you ask?
My name is Avery. Avery King. I'm the Beta's daughter. My brother Clay is Chase's best friend.
They don't really like me, at all. Ever since I accidentally ruined Chase's plans to date my best friend. Or should I say ex- best friend. Bailey. She left me the moment the bullying started. Said she didn't like to be with a loser.
But, that was all in the past now I have a new best friend her name is Scarlett she is great. We both play volleyball and are in choir. She is a werewolf too. Chase and Clay are quarterback and line backer for the football team.
~At school~
"You know Avery there's gonna be a party tonight. We should go."
Scarlett has been wanting me to go to this party for awhile now. But I know what will happen if I go, I'll be the party entertainment. "Why don't we go to the movies and then bowling instead? Please?"
She sighs "Alright, but you have to pinky promise you'll go to the next party, okay?"
"Okay, I promise." With that we lock our pinkies and head to choir.
Chase's Pov.
"Hey bro," Clay says. "Hey." "So instead of going to the party tonight what do you say about going to the movies instead and then bowling?"
"I guess. Hey we don't have football practice today. We should watch the volleyball practice and throw stuff at Avery."
"Yeah dude, maybe she'll get hurt or something."
