Starting again

Chapter 1-The beginning of it all

Lilly's POV

It all started on Thursday, when I caught my dad seeing another woman behind my mothers back. He begged me to not tell her but I couldn't keep a secret that big from my mum. It took me a while to figure out what I was going to do, in the end I decided to just tell my mum the truth before she found out her self. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

*flashback*

I was sitting on the sofa waiting for my mum to come home from work, my dad was out, probably seeing his side chick. As I heard the door shut and my mum shout that she was home my heart fell to my stomach.

"What's up Lilly, you look upset" My mum said in a worried tone.

"Mum I need to talk to you about something" I relied. She just sat down and waited for me to start talking. At this point I still didn't know what I was going to say, I've never been in this situation before. I just took a deep breath and said:

"I was walking through the shopping centre on Thursday going to buy Millie a birthday present when I went past the Chinese place in the centre I saw dad and another woman I've never seen before. I just watched to see what happened and she got up and kissed her. As they left he had his hands on her hips and they were way too close to just be friend" I stopped for a minute as I saw the hurt built up in my mums eyes. I continued:

"I went home and waited for him to come back, when I confronted him he begged me not to tell you but I just couldn't do that to you." I couldn't go on as my mums head fell into her hands and the sobs were so loud you could hear them from the bottom of the road. As she began to calm down I heard the key turn in the door. My mums head shot up in shock, she looked me in the eyes:

"Lilly please go to your room" she whispered trying not to cry.

I ran in the halfway ignoring my dad and trying to get up the stairs before he says anything

They've been at it for hours shouting back and forth to each other, their shouting so loud I can't even make out what there saying. I can't sleep and I have school tomorrow, its getting late and their still shouting but they've become a bit more quite now. I hear the front door slam then silence.

I jumps out of bed and run down stairs to my mum, I know its her because she wouldn't leave without me. I see her curled up in a ball in the middle of the floor, I run over to her and sit next to her rapping my arms around her as she falls into my lap. We sit there for about 20 minutes until she has nearly stopped crying.

She slowly stood up and made her way through to the kitchen, I slowly followed after her to make sure she was okay. She sat at the table and all she said was:

"we need to move away"

A/N: hey guys so this is the start of my first ever book and I'm sorry if it dragged on a bit but I promise it will get a lot more interesting in the next couple of chapters:)
