The Curse

Once upon a time, on a cold, dark evening, three friends, two boys, and one girl, boarded an old rusty ship. While on the boat, one of the tall boys with long blondish hair stood on top of a platform and point at the island, named Drake. "Hey, you guys, look over there; it's the legendary formation islands."A brown-eyed, long-haired, tanned with two tattoos, one on her wrist and the other on her arm girl responded, "So close to the money."While the three were chatting, the boats began to dock with the Captain saying, "This is the last stop for this route."A short, polite, timid boy yells out, "Um... excuse me; we have to get off at the next island. ""Yeah, there is no way we can travel there; you have heard of the different legends/tales of that place, haven't you." said the Captain.No, we haven't," said the three."Well, there's no point in explaining it; all you need to know is that the gods haunt the place, and anybody that goes in there mysteriously never returned," replies the Captain."Well, we're not getting off," said Nayla.The three stood there and held their ground. Standing there, the Captain yells for his crew, and four huge guys appeared from the basement of the ship.A kid yells around a group of other kids and an older-looking man sitting by a blazing fire, which covers a small part of the area but is utterly dark around them—sitting on top of logs, with the smell of wood in the air and trees rocking back and forth. "Wait just a minute," said a short, little kid with glasses."What's the problem, Dexter," said a tall well-groomed man, which looks to be in his 40's with a black beard, and beat-up-looking clothes."Mr. Robinson, I thought we all agree as a camp that there was not going to be any scary stories," said the boy.Mr. Robinson replied, "Listen here, Dexter, it's not a scary story. It's my family secret and the story of enteral youth that's been told to me a dozen times, and now it's my turn to tell it."Mr. Robinson finish explaining and raise his head to see all of the kids staring at the boy and making weird faces at him, which leads the glasses-wearing boy to get up and walking over to the tree with a smirk on his face saying,"Well, go ahead and tell your stupid, little story; I'm going back to the tent."The kid walked off, heading back to his tent with the sound of kids laughing at him. With a weird look on his face, he begins to pull his beard and starts to chuck and watched as the boy walks back to his tent. Once at his tent, the counselor turned back around to the other kids and looked into the fire, and began to finish the story. Ok, so, on top of the ship, the three kids held the ground why the ship crew appears from the basement, with Drake walking up toward them, with Nayla walking side by side with him and Gavin hiding in the back of them. Once Drake got up close to them, he grabbed one of their blades and held it up to the Captain's neck. In doing that, the Captain Crewmates rush at the three of them. But Drake quickly turns the Captain around and forces them to back off. "Listen here, all of you are going to get off, and we're going to take the ship." Said Drake.He said that the crew began to back away slowly and exit off the ship, with the Captain having a creepy look on his face. "I can't believe you had the balls to do that," said Nayla. "what do we do now." Replied Gavin. Drake went over to the ship's steering wheel and put a hat on with a C across it and in up saying. "We're going to command the ship." "So I'm going to need Nayla to go up on the mass and look for anything that comes our way, and I need Gavin to hold the sails to keep the ship steady while I guide the ship in the direction." Said DrakeThe other two nodded in agreement, and each went to their station. Once everyone was at their station, they began to take off but notice Gavin is hunched up in the corner and crying. "Get up, you big baby." Replied Nayla. "No, I'm not." Said Gavin."Will you two just shut up already, and both of you get back to your position already. Once Drake said that, the three began to set sail on the boat and head in the island's direction. In the distance, they saw a moon-shaped crest island cover in fog. Getting closer, they notice that the boat was steering itself toward the island, and the winds were picking up rapidly that the ship began to crack and spin in circles. Once that started to happen, Drake ran downstairs to find a tiny little boat, which he pulled up the stairs and threw into the water. Drake and Nayla look at each other and nodded in agreement to jump off the ship and land on the smaller boat. The two look up at Gavin, which was shaking and still hunch over on the side of the ship. With Drake yelling something. "Will you hurried up? Already the boat wants to last much longer," said Drake. "Why should I." replied Gavin. "Because we're in this together, and if you do, then this would be your last mission." Said Drake. Once Gavin heard that he stood up on top of the ledge of the boat and jump for it. But instead of making the boat, he lands in the water. Nayla and Drake helped Gavin get on the ship, but he spills and falls into the water again, getting all of the equipment and food wet. The two give Gavin a glaring look and turn around and take off to the island. The waves begin to take a strange turn; soon, the water moves into circles and begins to pull the gang to them."WHIRLPOOL." yelled Nayla.While talking, the three began to notice that the boat is now in the middle of many whirlpools, pulling the ship in a different direction. The three each hold on to the ship before the boat started to tear away from each other, leaving them to hold each other hands and form a circle. The ship fully cracks from the currents pulling the ship in different directions. The boat shatters, and the gang flies in the air. Hitting the water hard and getting submerged underwater and twist around from the currents, the three each flow in a different direction."Whattttttttt!" yells the kids. "I'm not done." Said Mr. Robinson, "it gets good here."So, Drake woke up to a bright sun bearing down and burning his face once the boat crash. Looking around him, he doesn't see his friend. While noticing a beautiful beach with white sand on his feet, he smells rotten fish from the ocean. Drake got up and looked around to see an eagle-tiger flying bird, Pink Ocean, and jumping crabs pinching Drake's toes. Drake jumped and ran away from the sand to look for his friends.On the other side of the island, Gavin got up and looked around and panic trying to pick up what things were by him and figure out where his friends were. Why panicking, he started to run into the woods that he heads and trips over a branch to see substantial flower trees releasing a vanilla scent, giant beetles flying and chirming. Getting up sees a weird-looking purple goop on him and notices scratch marks getting closer. Looking up, he sees a substantial sabered-toothed cat smelling whatever junk he has on him. Seeing this, he falls to the ground and then begins to take off, getting to his feet and running further into the woods.While Nayla has already walked into the woods, looking at the different creatures that are extinct or utterly new to her eyes. While walking, she begins to grab all little things she finds, from fruit, bones, plants, and having a creepy smile on her face."I can get so much money for this." Said Nayla.While not noticing, Nayla runs into Drake, and both have cheerful looks on their faces and hear yelling to see Gavin getting chased by a tiger. The three took off running and ran deeper into the woods, dodges all bugs and animals. Into the three arrive at a small looking cave, they decide to enter in to escape the tiger. "They did escape that little part. But wasn't out save just yet," said Mr. Robinson. Hiding, the three look at each other and sat in the cave for a few hours, making sure the tiger left the area. Once they thought the close was clear. They all exit from the cave, and you heard Gavin say. "Can we hurry up and get off of this stupid island," said Gavin."Shut up, this place is interesting," said DrakeAll three of them hear a loud voice and feel something chilling come over each of their bodies. The three looked at each other and then turn and look to see smoke coming outside a cave on an active volcano. Each feels a presence and begins to head that way.The three began to head to where the smoke is coming out—at the same time, heading deeper into the forest. The gang feels the presence getting close, and while walking, a weird smell fills the air and begins to take effect on all and knocks Gavin out. I am leaving Drake to carry him.Nayla talks "Someone has to be following us."Drake pretended he didn't notice Nayla say anything, into they feel the same thing and hear scratching noise coming behind them. Drake holding Gavin turns around to a creature on four legs, muscular and hair began to chase them. Nayla and Drake take off running, stepping into puddles, and jumping over branches. While still running, they run into quicksand and quickly jumped up and grab a tree branch and went tree from tree to they got outside of the forest. The two turn around and sees the wolf has stopped at the end of the forest and slowly turning around. The two looked at each other and waked Gavin back up to start climbing the mountain. As they were ascending, they noticed that the smoke was emitting from a bit of cave. Making it almost up there, Nayla begins to slip, but before she falls, something holds her up and throws her in the cave. Noticing that, Drake and Gavin run up the mountain, enter the cave, and run to where they see Nayla.She is asking if she's ok.Nayla replied, "Yeah, I'm just fine, but I have no idea what brought me up here."The three looked around and noticed no one is in the cave, but it looked like someone had lived there from a fireplace going, a bookcase, and swords on the wall. But something is still over them. The three looked and noticed a box that seems to be attracting them. Gavin runs over to it and sees a note that says, "Don't open; you have been warning.""This must be the Hidden treasure we were looking for," said Gavin"Well, I guess that was kind of easy to find," replied Drake.Drake begins to rip off the note and open the box, to nothing being in there, just blackness."What in the world? It's nothing in here," said Drake.The other two walked over and seen Drake was telling the truth. All three fell to the ground and Drake was saying, "I guess it's nothing here after all."While Drake talked, they took their eyes off the box, and black web strings came out. Clouds appeared fast, and lighting flash everywhere. The three looked outside and to see the island beginning to turn dark everywhere. The gang finally turned around to shadows all over the room and sucked them up. The box reopened, and a man appeared out of it, with long hair and a scruffy beard."Looking like me." Said Mr. Robinson. A chill fills the area and silence all around the campground. The trees stopped moving, and the wind has completely stopped. "Wait, that's how the story ends?!" All the kids yelled.Mr. Robinson replied, "Yup, that's how the Pandora box first started."The teacher beings to get up and reach for his backpack, and pulls out the same-looking box he told in the story."Wait, is that the box," said a little boy."Yes, it is; I had to tell this story because my family must perform this act of enteral life. It just so happened the story was base on a family member that got stuck in before he had a chance to use it. But it all works out in the end. " said Mr. Robinson.Mr. Robinson began to laugh and stood up, looking at all the kids, grabbed the box, and opened the box. Letting shadows come out of it, and starts to wrap around him, and extends to holding all the kids and pulling them all in. Leaving the fire burning in the middle and a Gus of wind blowing by, Mr. Robinson put out a cigar and lit it. After that, he walked off into the distance, with his hair blowing all over the place.
