Behind The Scenes

Chapter 1

Hi my name is Sam short for Samantha not my idea of course. I have long, blonde, thick and curly hair. It's the worst. I have big blue eyes and glasses and tons of freckles I suppose I'm not that pretty but I don't see myself as ugly either.
I go to Southward high and I'm a year 9
It's almost the end of the year and I'll be a year ten....I can't wait. My best friend is called Ariana but she's moving to otago next year and I'm gonna miss her like crazy but I've known since the start of last year that she was moving so ive gotten used to the idea of her not around as much. Well still see each other in the weekends but other then that not at all.

I haven't got many other friends or really any at all I guess I'm not what to you would call "popular" or anywhere near it but I'm not a nerd either I guess I'm in between so I get the best of both worlds in some ways........

I don't have any siblings it's just been me and my mum for as long as I could remember. Mum never told me about my dad but then again I never asked. I have mum and that's all I need.

I love school although I will miss my friend and probably be a loner but I'm aceing (except for maths) all my classes and I've had no fails this year which is awesome especially if I wanna get my dream job of becoming a actor
As you can see things couldn't be better for me right now.

1 term later.......

This was it...the first day of year ten....everything's perfect....I'm aceing my classes..my mum and I are great...this year is gonna be awesome..but I almost forgot it cant be perfect or even great because there's no Ariana..I Sat on my bed and cried until my face was drenched and a puddle was forming in my hands.

I heard my mum coming upstairs so I quickly wiped my face and climbed under my blankets.
"Sweet heart" she said "I heard you crying, why?"
I slowly pushed the blankets down "what will I do without Ariana mum?, I need her, she's my best friend"
Just talking about it made my eyes water.
"Do you wanna no what I think Sam"
"Probably not but your gonna tell me anyway"
"I think you should get dressed,go to school, and for all you no you might make a new friend,now off you go try and have a good day sweetie"
"OK mum" i gave her a hug, got dressed, did my hair and lunch and then left for school.
