Chapter 1: New Beginnings

It was my first day into my new house, my family and I have just moved to California for business reasons.

See the thing is my parents are lawyers and they got a better job offer so we had to move here. It's okay I guess but I dreaded the thought of moving. I miss my old home back in London but I guess the move is for the better.

"Savanah come downstairs!" my parents called from the kitchen

"Coming!" I yelled back

The only thing I dislike about this house it stairs, I hate stairs. I'm just really lazy when it comes to stairs. Are home back in London was huge but there wasn't any stairs it was just a really long house with numerous rooms.

"Yes?"

"We enrolled you to your new high school, you start in a week" my parents said smiling

"Yay what a joy" I said in the most sarcastic tone

"Aww c'mon honey it wont be that bad, I bet you can make new friends" my dad said hugging me from the side ruffling my hair

"I don't want new friends! I didn't even want to move here!" I said fixing my hair

"I know it's hard for you but maybe this can be a start over, a new beginning for us"

"Fine" I said sighing

"I'll be up in my room fixing my stuff if you need me" I said walking up the stairs to my room

I miss my old friends so I decided to to tweet them

Well I hope school isn't a pain, maybe my dads right, maybe I can make new friends. Maybe this is the start of a new beginning.
