The moment we entered the dormitory an array of Aristocrat Vampires had appeared, lingering on and around the couches.

As soon as Kaname shut the large oak doors behind us, we immediately caught their undivided attention. They all sprung to their feet, bowing gracefully.

"Good evening Kaname, Miss Tsukiakari" a blonde boy had cheerily announced, quickly averting the gaze of the Aristocrats before us. I glanced at him, before a smile flickered across my face.

"Ah... you must be an Ichijo. I'd recognise that lovely blonde hair anywhere." He looked taken aback, before returning a smile of his own.

"Thank you... I am Takuma Ichijo, the grandson of Asato." He looked quite bashful, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"It's nice to meet you, Takuma." My gaze found that of a turquoise-eyed blonde male who I recognized as the son of Aido. I smiled once again, nearly immediately making him jolt and blush feverishly before stepping forward and placing a hand on his shoulder, making him quickly look away.

"You must be Aido... Hanabusa I believe?" He noticeably jumped at the contact, before looking towards me.

"I am, Rena-Sama" he went to bow, before I softly grasped his chin, pulling him back up.

"There is no need to be so formal. You can just call me Rena, if you'd like. And you don't need to bow, either. Just be respectful of myself and your peers and I'm sure I'll do the same." A few gasps emanated from around the room, before Kaname strode towards me.

"Rena, may I have a word with you after you've finished unpacking?" He whispered, leaning down so that only the two of us could hear.

Realizing that I had once again done something wrong, I forced a smile and nodded.

"Of course Kaname."

He placed a hand on my back and began to lead me up the winding staircase and into the hallway where the rooms resided, leaving the Aristocrats to themselves in the foyer.

Aido

I watched as the young Pureblood woman gracefully flew up the staircase, thinking about what she had said to me.

Kain, who seemed to have sensed my sudden and strange silence, glanced towards me.

"Hanabusa, you alright?"

I quickly brought my attention to my flame-weilding cousin, grinning, although crookedly.

"She's just too nice, is all. It really does make one wonder." And I took another glance up at the empty space at the top of the staircase, before chuckling to myself.

Are you really a Vampire, Rena-Sama ?
