I opened my eyes, scared. I hugged my arms and inched away from the side of my bed, and tried not to cry. I knew it was only a dream, but I didn't care. It had seemed so real.
I had been in the streets of Snowdin again, and I killed him. I would never get over that, never. But I had to, or I would have memory flashes, and that would be bad. I would just black out, randomly, and see it all over again. I couldn't do that.
"Time to get out of bed, Jayden." Goat mom called. "Be out in a minute." I yelled back. She didn't know I killed him. She thought I always spared everyone I came across. Only one other person knew about it, and it would stay that way, at least until I was ready to tell everyone.
I walked out of my bedroom at Toriel's house, and walked into the kitchen. "Hey, happy birthday,!" She excitedly said. "I made you butterscotch pie to celebrate!" "Gee, thanks mom." I said. I took it to eat as I walked to school.
We had moved to the city not to long after Asriel broke down the barrier, after I killed him. I finished my pie and threw away the plate on my way to school. I finally got there.
I went through school, same as always, until lunch. During lunch, Elizabeth came up to me. "So I heard your mom is a monster, huh Jayden." She said. "No. She's not my mom." I quietly said. "Then what is she, a random goat monster you happen to live with?" She asked, clearly trying not to laugh. "No, she's my mom-ster." I say, trying to make a pun.
She punched me hard in the jaw. She threw another punch toward my nose, but I dodged it. "Please don't." I plead as I dodge another one. "Too bad punk." She says. She punches, aiming for my check, but instead comes in contact with my nose. I feel pain erupt there, and blood practically is gushing out.
"Stop it." Says Levi. He was the only one who understood my situation with monsters, and accepted them. Elizabeth sighed and walked away. "Thanks." I say. "Hey, no problem. That's what friends are for, right?" He says. "But we should probably get you to the nurse."
When we got to the nurse, she didn't ask what happened. I went there a lot with injuries from fights. She gave me two Tylenol, and straightened my nose. She told me to stuff tissues up my nose for the bleeding, and gave me an ice pack for my jaw. She said that if the bleeding didn't stop, I should probably go to the hospital.
We walked out of the nurses office, and went on with our day. It was pretty uneventful and boring, as always. Finally, the day was over.
Elizabeth came to my locker after school as I was packing up. She beat me up pretty good, I had blood coming out of my mouth, several bruises all over my body, and an at least fractured wrist.
I walk home to Toriel's house, not Sans and Papyrus's house like I said I would. Her house was closer. I tried to get out my phone to text them where I was going, and not to worry, but the pain was too much.
I got to Toriel's house, and knocked on the door with my special knock. Three quiet knocks, then three loud ones "Welcome home my child, I was not expecting you!" She cheerily said through the door as she opened it.
Then she saw me. "My child, what happened to you?" She asked. I was about to answer, but everything turned to black before I could.
I woke up in the streets of Snowdin. I had a gun, and the cool metal pressed into my hand. There was someone following me. I turned around and shot them in the head. I killed him again. Why didn't I just shoot him in the somewhere else instead? I wouldn't have this issue then, now would I?
I knew I could gain consciousness if I wanted to now. But did I really? Then I remembered Toriel, and how worried she probably was.
I opened my eyes.
