KNOWING GHANA
There are four colours in the Ghana flag🇬🇭🇬🇭 . It was designed by mrs.Theodosia salomey okoh. They are:
1.Red🔴 - means the blood of our forefathers who fought for the country
2.yellow🔶- means. Minerals of Ghana Eg.gold,diamond,bauxite
3.Green✅- means our vegetation like forest in Ghana.
4.Black◼- mean the black people of Africa
Philip Gbeho composed the Ghana National anthem . Tetteh Quarshie brought cocoa to Ghana from Fernado po now Bioko island( Equatorial guinea) in 1879. The portuguese were the first Europeans to arrive in Ghana from 1471-1642. Lake bosomtwe is the only natural lake in Ghana.
