"Come. On. Hurry up already!"
"Okay, okay just gimme a minute, geez..."
My brother, at 7:15, wants to head to school, thinking that since it is his first day in 3rd grade, being at school an hour early will give his teacher a great impression of him. As he is already out the door, I am still in my bed checking social media; Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
My brother, now in my room dragging me out of bed (he is surprisingly strong for his age!), is so aggravated that he made me go to school in my pajamas; Tweetie-bird pants, and a Led- Zepplin crop top (I know, very unique, right?).
On the walk to school, my slippers stepped on two pieces of gum- even better, dog crap. At this point in the day, now being 7:22, I am not looking forward to my first day of high school.
As I drop my little brother, Oliver, off at school, I see my friend, Jessica. She is dropping off her little sister, Amelia.
"So Amber, have you found any.... Dare I say it... Boys over the summer?" Jessica asks me as I acknowledge bits and pieces of sarcasm.
" Hahaha... No. But, I did write a couple of new songs, and I'm working on getting a gig for the Hometown fair." I reply back, now noticing that she is very disappointed in me.
As we are now walking to our high school, Pacific High School, we notice some of our other friends and catch up with them.
"Hey. Allison!" I screech out, hoping that she will hear me from across the street. Of course, she doesn't. UUUUUGGGGGGHHHH. Then, I try again. This time, she isn't even stunned at all, doesn't look around or anything.
"Hold on let me try," Jessica states. "Allison!!" Of course, now Allison looks over her shoulder and notices Jessica and I.
"Oh hey! How are you guys!?" At this point, we are all just screeching at each other from across the street.
"I'm good, how are you? How was your summer?" I reply. Of course, she didn't hear me.... Whatever.
I'm too lazy to finish off this chapter so I'll make a part two for this chapter:)
