I see the grey of his eyes, slowly crawling back as he grew closer, the stench of rotting blood and flesh oozing off of him, skin steaming as the raindrops hit. This was the end of humans, the end of life. War of Daemons was going to wipe us all out, and forever, we will be enemies. They've killed billions of us, and we've barely killed thousands. With this war, mythical beings have pledged to be our enemies. That is, if any of us really survive these attacks.

We may be doomed, but there is no way in hell we're going down without giving the best fight we got. I'm no longer in the war, fighting out there. My injuries from last month's attack were too severe, as my commander stated. I know the real reason was that he didn't want to end this battle with gore and death. He was a peacekeeper. How funny, and sort of ironic. A military commander wanting to keep peace. Anyway, today marks a special day. We finally captured a win, thank goodness.

To bring us closer together, God has created a center for the children. So they may learn and grow together. Finally, what Commander wished to see.
