It Started With A Date

-----After the movie----

"That was way better than Twilight." I conclude as I walk out of the cinema, Louis leading me with Niall on my other side.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it." Louis says to me. Mum and Harvey are so into each other, it's weird. Wouldn't it be creepy if they get married and I was dating one of the boys. Eww. We hop back in the car and head to the Cheesecake Factory. Apparently they have already reserved a table. We arrive and walk into the restaurant, cooler air engulfing us as we did so. Harvey walks up to the person. Niall had intertwined our fingers earlier and was now walking towards his dad. I had no choice but to follow him.

"Right this way sir." The waitress leads us to a table set for five. Mum and Harvey sit next to each other, Niall sits next to me and Louis is opposite. The waitress places menus in front of us. I open the menu, seeing sentences after sentences of delicious sounding foods.

"Ahh! So much choice!" I eventually go with a pasta. Of course, the fun comes when it's time to choose a cheesecake. "Ok, so um."

"What's your favorite colour?" Niall asks me.

"Pink."

"Sport?" Louis asks.

"I guess I 'play' American football. It basically involves me and my brothers throwing the football to each other. I also enjoy playing footy. Believe it or not, many people say I am better than my brother, Zayn."

"Oh yeah, Zach sometimes plays footy with him when he comes over. He's good." I smile as Louis tells me this information. "I see you like running."

"Haha, yeah." I feel blood suddenly rush to my cheeks. "Oh my god,I am so sorry!"

"Why are you sorry?"

"When I blush I literally go full on red."

"Nerd, geek, jock, popular kid?"

"Nerd and geek. I don't really have many friends and I don't play sport at school."

"Ah. What books do you read?" Niall asks.

"Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, Mortal Instruments, His Dark Materials, Harry Potter, Agatha Chrisite ya know. Oh, and I watch Doctor Who. So that's quite geeky."

"I never really got into Doctor Who, I guess it's really hit or miss with people." Louis tells me.

"Yeah. Many girls want Prince Charming to rescue them, I want to run away with the Doctor."

"Sara, you know what I said about talking about Doctor Who, barely anyone wants to hear about it."

"Yes mum. I like Doctor Who cause simple plots are for wimps."

"Is it really complicated?"

"Sometimes, you know, it's all wibbley wobbly timey wimey stuff."

"Ok, this may seem weird but I'll give it a try. Ok, so the Doctor is a timelord, and he is supposedly the last one, but there's the master another timelord that keeps appearing. Anyway, the eleventh Doctors companions for most of his time is Amy and Rory, they get married and have a kid called Melody. Their last name is Pond. Well, that was recently anyway. There is this woman called River Song who keeps meeting the Doctor at the wrong time. She has a diary that has his whole life. So picture this, when the Doctor meets River for the first time, she knows him like the back of his hand, but he doesn't have any idea who she is. So when they meet, the Doctor is older and River is younger. They meet backwards almost. Here," I get two forks and place one of the prongs facing me and the others prongs facing Louis. "It is two time streams meeting at the wrong time. This is when they are born." I point to the prongs and starts moving my fingers down them in opposite directions." So when they meet, it's weird, cause River knows more than the Doctor, so when they first met, she was older than him and knew his whole life, but he didn't. With me?"
