It Started With A Date

"Thanks." I give him a smile and I step in. Louis sits in the middle, with Niall on the other side. Mum and Harvey are still standing outside the car, talking.

"Who will have Sara during the movies?" Louis asks.

"Hi! I still exist!" Niall chuckles.

"May I lead you into the cinema?"

"Yeah, Niall can 'lead' me into the restaurant." I compromise. They agree. By the time we had finished, the couple had taken their seats and Harvey had started the engine. The radio comes on. "Do you guys mind if I sing?"

"Not at all." Louis says and gives me a cheeky grin.

"What keeps the planet spinning,ah." I sing. "I'm up all night to get lucky." The boys join in. I have to say, this is a very good song. I start swaying in my seat.

"She's up all night for good fun." The three of us start to dance.

"We're all up night to get. We're up all night to get. We've come to far, to give up, who we are." We continue to sing and dance.

"If you can't hear, what I'm trying to say." Blurred Lines always comes on at least once every car ride. We pull up to the cinema. I open the door and hop out, my feet making a quiet noise when they hit the pavement. Louis stands next to me and offers me his arm. I slip my hand through and tuck a loose hair behind my ear with my free hand.

"I feel bad now." I say,

"Why?" Louis asks.

"Niall's alone. Niall, walk next to me." He comes over and smiles. Harvey and mum walk ahead with us in tow.

"Five tickets to see Mortal Instruments." Harvey says to the cashier person. She nods and hands him the tickets.

"Do want anything?" Louis asks.

"We could share a large popcorn?" I say in response. He nods and goes to the desk where they sell food and drinks.

"One large popcorn and a medium popcorn please." I look over to Niall.

"Niall, cheer up! At least you get your own popcorn." He smiles and thanks me.

"Why thank you?"

"For cheering me up."

"Ok." I turn back to Louis. The worker places two popcorn and a large drink with two straws. "What's with the drink?" I ask him.

"Oh, it's for us to share."

"Excuse me, but could I have a medium... Niall what's your fave drink?"

"Coke, I guess."

"One medium Coke please." I hand her a five pound note. She fills up the Coke and gives me 2.10 change. "Thanks." I pick up the drink, feeling the coldness in my hand. "Here, don't pay me back."

"Sara, you didn't need to do that." Niall answers, taking the drink from me anyway.

"Just because you don't have a girl at the moment, doesn't mean I can't buy you a drink." I answer.

"You are really kind." Niall says.

"Thanks. No jealousy Louis?" I look up to Louis who is already looking at me.

"Nope. None at all."

"Really?"

"Truly."

"Good." I pick up the popcorn and Louis has the drink. I realize my mum and Harvey aren't here. They must have gone and sat down. We walk as a trio and sit down, with me in the middle. We arrive as soon as the trailers start to play.
