The High School Version

Final Year

Have you ever been completely shocked about how quick time flies by? I can assure you that I am completely shocked right this moment, as we speak! It's final year for me in school. All I've been thinking about lately is all the memories I've had with my friends; all the fun times, all the arguments, all the laughter and all the sorrow. We've all been through that at some point or another in our lives with our mates! My friends and I have been together since Year 7. The memories just don't seem to end! The friend rollercoaster for me though, was always all over the place! Loads of friends came...then left! But two people have been there since day 1! Ariana and Bria! No matter how many friends joined then ditched, us three have always been the...threeo, I guess! The three musketeers!

Ariana, who btw LOVES Ariana Grande (coincidence much), has light toned skin, an awesome afro that everyone annoys her with by touching it and brown eyes. Bria has "olive" skin colour, but really she's just fair, long straight brown hair and dark brown eyes. Then there's me. Mira. Light brown skin, long black hair and deep brown eyes. We all come from different places. I'm from India (born but brought up in Britain), Ariana is mixed race (her dad was from Nigeria and her mum is British), and Bria is British from Lincolnshire! Our personalties are kinda the same. We are all hyper, random, like to have fun type of girls. We don't really do much of the gossiping thing. I think it's because we don't actually care about that sort of stuff! We aren't really much into makeup either! But we're definitely all into fashion! As you can probably already tell, we're not really popular. But don't get the wrong idea. We're not unpopular either. I guess we're in the middle! Even though it's always just us three, we do have a lot of other friends! I guess we rather just stay a threeo and not be involved with all the drama that goes around.

Ariana is the type of girl who literally has a smile 24/7. It's like she has a permanent smile! She never ever stops laughing! She will laugh at anything I say...even when I'm not trying to be funny! But you know what? I love making my friends laugh. I don't know why but it feels like a duty to make my friends laugh! Ariana is kinda of the peace maker if you get what I mean? Every time, Bria and I start to have a serious debate over something stupid then it's Ariana to the rescue! To be honest, all she does is tell us to shut up! And we do! We just ignore it and move on.

Bria is the most random girl in the world. But that's the funny thing. Out of no where she will just suddenly start talking about oreos or something! And then we all end up laughing on the floor because of how random that was! She isn't the most sociable person though! Sometimes she doesn't like meeting or talking to new or other people. She's normally herself when she's near people she's comfortable with. She's always fan girling. Especially over something about zodiac signs or The Hunger Games. But we love it.
Then this leaves me. As I already mentioned before, I'm Indian. If you don't already know then I'll tell you now! Indians are always studying. They have a reputation of being smart. So I for one, am always studying! As soon as I come home from school, I start studying since my parents are very serious when it comes to studying. Especially in a time like now where the exams are just round the corner! But I understand. But don't take me as a book worm! I HATE STUDYING! I'm more of the relaxed kinda girl who doesn't really like putting in effort, but I always do put in effort! I love dancing, acting and singing. But I also love sports like Cricket, Badminton, Tennis and Basketball. I'm very competitive when it comes down to these sports! Cricket is my personal favourite! Indians love Cricket btw! Well most of them anyway!

School is still going on and so is the drama! It's mostly due to Prom coming up! Who's gonna be who's date? I can just only dream to be going to prom with my crush! Ashton Cross. One of the most popular guys in our year! He's good looking, nice, athletic and one of the smartest people in our WHOLE SCHOOL! He's is most of my classes, so I am good friends with him as I have been with him since Year 7! But I don't know why but we've become closer friends since the first day of Year 11! Recently, he's been having some friend troubles and surprisingly he turned to me for advise. He hasn't told anyone about this but me! He's still really popular though. He acts different around his friends but let's be honest, all guys do that!
I tell Ariana and Bria everything so I told them about Ash and they keep teasing me saying that he likes me. But I don't think that will ever happen. I remember I used to say that I will never get a crush because they're a waste if time, back in Year 7. Now, Ariana and Bria never stop reminding me! I used to tease them about their crushes and now that's happening to me. Both Ariana and Bria have a crush but never really speak about them. Bria doesn't ever really talk to her crush much. She likes Kellan Milestone, also one of the most popular guys in our year. Ariana, I guess, talks to her crush the most out of all of us! Which is a good way to go! She likes Josh Field. Also one of the popular guys in our year.  Sharing and talking about our crushes isn't what we normally tend to do. We normally just end up, one way or another, talking about food. But who can blame us, food is glorious!
