Prologue

Flashback

One year ago- 3rd year in high school- last period- last day of school

I looked down at my hands, my eyes slightly tearing up. They had been teasing me all day; I hadn't had the chance to call down. I was use to this, the bullying, but today it was so much worse. Today was the last day of school and they were being even more harsh than normal.

"Hey Harper, what's with the ugly skirt? Trying to impress some poor boy?"Allison the schools slut asked me. She's really starting to piss me off. I had been taking her shit since I accidently spilt my milk on her in freshman year.

"Hey Harper, is that perfume or marinade?" That's it; I'm so done with her! She's not going to get away with this anymore.

"Actually, it's slut repellent, but it doesn't seem to be working." I replied, a smirk on my face. The class broke out in laughter. Her face was priceless, so priceless I just had to take a picture, and I did. She had gotten out of her shock and started glaring at me.

"Oh look, the nerd has a mouth. How long did it take you to think of that one?" she finally replied smirking also. She thought she had won. How funny. I shook my head and looked up at her, a smirk still plastered on my face.

"Oh, about as long as it takes you to drop your panties for any guy alive." The class irrupted in laughter once more. I had won this round, and I was going to be winning them all from this point on. I was done being little miss nerd. I was done being the good girl! Its time I grew out of this me. It's time for a change, and starting today, everything will be changing.

That was me at the end of my 11th grade year; I had indeed changed since then. That day I left school with a whole mind set. I changed my plain brown hair to a blood red color. I had lost all my baby fat and I was pretty toned. I had picked up martial arts and a piercing and tattoo here and there. I had pretty much gained that bad girl look. Hell, I even have a motorcycle! If that doesn't scream badass I don't know what does!

Anyways, back at the problem at hand. I broke my freaking earphones and now I can't go on my run. This is great, just great. Hint the sarcasm. I picked up my keys to my baby and slipped on my favorite leather jacket. Time to hit the mall so I can buy me another pair of earphones. I hopped on my baby and sped off to the mall.

I walked into hot topic heading towards the sections where the earphones were located. God I loved this store. As I searched for the right pair I looked up and spotted a pair of Three days grace ones. Oh my gaara, they were calling my name!

I reached up to grab them, my fingers touching them. Apparently I wasn't the only one whose name they were calling because my hand clashed with someone else. I looked at him menacingly. He was NOT having these; they were the last pair too.

"You are NOT getting these! I saw them first! They are mine!" I hissed at him, pulling them closer to my body. He seemed surprised and turned towards the front before yelling out "Ethan, Liam, come here!" I looked at him weirdly before beginning to walk away.

But before I could the boy grabbed my arm. I gave him a "what the hell face" before pulling my arm away from him. Two guys appeared by him.

"Yo?" the two boys replied together.

"This girl thinks she can take these earphones from me! Funny right?" the boys laughed at me.

"No, hunny, the question is can you take them from me? Because last time I checked I had the earphones, not you." With that I started to walk away. After buying the earphones I left the mall heading towards my baby. Right when I was about to get on someone yelled redhead. I looked towards the dude from hot topic annoyed.

"What yo? I don't have time for this!" he was seriously starting to make me mad.

"Give me those earphones!" he reached towards my bag but I grabbed his wrist and flipped him over me slamming him on the ground. I laughed at him while getting on my bike.

"Next time you try to take something from someone, make sure you can actually beat them. Well, I'll see you guys later!" with that said I sped off leaving them in my dust, literally.
