Lea.
He was all you could ever think about. His voice haunted your dreams at night. Your memories of him hurt.
Lea was the name that you held so close to yourself. The name that once brought you the upmost happiness, but now caused tears to form. The name that you had once shared so much laughter with, but now nothing but sorrow was left behind.
He was gone and nothing could change that.
All those things you could have said to him. No, should have said to him. All those times spent thinking out how to say certain things to him.. Were they all wasted? All that time you were going to spend with him, hanging on to each and every word of his, laughing at his goofy expressions.
You wanted nothing more than to be sat on the top of your apartment's roof with him. Carefully licking and eating sea salt ice cream, whilst watching the sunset together. You wanted to see the sunset light up the beautiful features that aligned his face perfectly. You wanted more than anything just to hear his voice, knowing everything would be okay.
You let your thoughts dwell on what could've been. Tears lace your eyes, slowly rolling down your cheeks. They fall at an angle, forming little puddles on the pillow beneath you.
You'd do anything to hear his voice again, anything to feel his fingers run through your hair, anything to set your eyes upon his face just one last time.
A sigh escapes your lips as you turn over your now soaked pillow. The pillow is gripped tightly as you assure yourself things will be better in the morning. You know the nightmares that await your sleep. But still you find yourself succumbing to sleep's grip. Your eyes, still laced with tears, slowly begin to close as you await the terrors to come.
